She continued walking but the person behind her kept talking.

She chuckled and continued to follow the front again. She also could hear 324's friend, 250, laughing. She shook her head.

They were then lead to a room with cameras. All she heard there was,

"Please look into the camera. Smile!"

The automated voice instructed. She waited patiently and it was her turn. She thought about how to pose. But it was too late.

"Please look into the camera."

She did as instructed.

"Smile!"

She frowned. She started walking off as 324 took her spot. She sighed and walked off. She followed those infront of her and they continued.

The staircase were endless. Colourful, but confusing.

"Why would they need such confusing staircases, huh?"

After what seemed like hours, they finally made it to the first game. The metal gates squeaked and clanged as it swung open.

She slowly took a few steps out of the gates and the sun shone down on her, making her squint her eyes. Daeyoung looked around. She was outside. Or was she? She examined around carefully and soon realised that it was walls painted to mimic the outside.

She scoffed and continued walking further. Her eyes darting around when she was suddenly shoved on the shoulder. She looked at the man and realised it was Gi-hun.

He immediately turned around and apologised while holding her shoulders.

"Oh my! I'm so sorry miss."

"Oh, uhm, it's fine. Don't worry about it."

He gave her an apologetic look and ran off. She continued staring at him and realised he had ran off to player 218, Sang-woo.

She moved closer, eavesdropping on their conversation.

"Hey Sang-woo! Oh, Sang-woo my man! What happened? What the hell are you doing here? Your mother and I were talking the other day. She said you were out of the country on a business trip."

Sang-woo looked around, probably embarrassed.

"What was that guy talking about? How are you in debt? The same Sang-woo who attends SNU, right?"

Sang-woo only looked towards his friend until the voice spoke again.

"Attention all players. After you enter the game hall, please stand behind the white line drawn on the field and await for any further instructions."

She looked back towards the two friends but realised Sang-woo had walked off, leaving a confused looking Gi-hun behind.

"Once again, will all players please stand behind the white line drawn on the field and await for any further instructions."

Daeyoung walked forward and heard her number behind called. She looked around and realised 324 and 250 had called out to her.

She walked towards them and questioned them.

"What?"

"You looked lonely. Be grateful we even called you to be here with us."

250 said. She scoffed.
