"Ahh, you mean the stupid game guy? What do you need his name for, Detective Hwang?"

The officer that sat at the front desk inquired.

"Oh, I just saw that he looked familiar to me. I think I know him as a family friend or something."

"Really? Oh, let me think about it. Something like Ssangmun-dong, or Seong, or—"

"Seong Gihun."

The other officer next to him butted in. Daeyoung, who was fidgeting with the hem of her windbreaker, stopped immediately and shot her head up. The name sounded awfully familiar to her.

Seong Gi-hun, huh?

"Ssangmun-dong is where he lives, right?"

"You're right."

The previous officer continued, before turning his attention back to Junho.

"Seong Gihun, is he your friend?"

Junho glanced around the front desk, before hesitantly speaking again.

"Uh— yeah. I'm pretty sure. Oh, and how about getting his address too?"

Just a few hours later, the sibling duo went out for dinner. After all, it has been awhile since they have eaten out together as siblings, including Inho. However, the mentioned man hasn't even been seen in a long period of time. The family has tried over and over again, but to no avail.

No matter how hard they tried, their efforts were always proven useless. Countless amount of calls, yet the man has not picked up any. Junho, being the detective of the family and all, has been trying to find his brother's whereabouts for the longest time.

Seeing her brother stuck in trance, she snapped her fingers infront of him.

"Yah, Junho, you okay? You seem so lost in thoughts."

Junho, who had a spoonful of his meal infront of his mouth, jolted slightly. He was met with the worried gaze of his sister who sat opposite him in the booth of the restaurant. Not being met with a response, Daeyoung raised a questioning brow to her brother.

"Oh—uh, sorry. It's just that.."

Junho contemplated. Daeyoung put her spoon down onto her plate and and told her brother to just spit it out.

"It's okay, just tell me."

Junho let out a breath before finally telling his sister his discovery.

"Okay, so, I might have an idea on how to find Inho."

Daeyoung furrowed her eyebrows, gesturing him to keep going.

"In the station, yesterday, I met a strange guy who was arguing with the officers at the front desk. He was furiously saying that he's been in a 'game' and that players were being killed for it. He showed the officers a card, similar to the one Inho is."

"So, you're implying?"

"That the guy might know Inho."

Daeyoung averted her gaze down to the table, slowly tapping her fingers on it. She was lost in thought. She did not remember seeing her brother in the game.Though, there was 456 players. Finding one person would be complicated.
