Hi guys. I hope you're doing well. Unfortunately, I'm not doing well today as I've caught cold & I'm on my periods right now.
As always, whenever I get this much sick, I think of not writing / skipping the week or abandoning this entire thing. I started to write this online diary for me to be open about my writing & being consistent. At least, I've achieved only one of them right now.
Sadly, I'm not being consistent with my efforts. Likewise, I write a chapter few hours before publishing /posting it, just like this one😜. What I really should've looked for is being consistent in writing.
So, for the past couple of weeks, I've been using LibreOffice 抖阴社区r for chapters & backups. For those who don't know, LibreOffice is an open-source alternative to MS Office. It's free to download & relays on donations from the end-user. I chose this over MS Office because a .docx (Word file) is opened in other programs e.g. Google Docs, LibreOffice 抖阴社区r, OpenOffice etc other than MS Word, the formatting gets messed up and it's super frustrating.
Earlier I was using Obsidian.md(markdown note-taking app) for this. But I was getting confused with that e.g. How to link your notes in a chronological order, How to find them when I need them etc. The more I added parameters for my ease of work, the more I got distracted.
For my current workflow, LibreOffice or even MS Office is more enough to get the job done. I don't need Obsidian.md for that matter.
One of the upsides of writing on Word Processors mentioned above, i.e. the text formatting stays relatively same if I want to copy-paste my writing from Word Processor to 抖阴社区, e.g. bold text stays bold, italic text stays italic; you get the idea.
For Markdown apps like Obsidian.md, that's not the case. I'd have to know some syntax to make any text **bold** or *italic*. But when I'm copy-pasting text the same way I'd do for Word Processor, formatting becomes a normal text e.g. **bold** would look **bold**, *italic* would look *italic* etc., which leads to me to reformat the entire damn thing again! Who wants that sh!t?
One of the downsides of writing on Word Processors i.e. images cannot be copy-pasted on sites like 抖阴社区. For example, in the last Sunday's chapter, I had included video screenshots & movie posters. Well, I had already inserted those while writing in the Software. But when I did the copy-paste, the text was there, but not the images. So, I had to reinsert them in the chapter before publishing it.
Anyways, this week was special. BTS member RM & V and Jimin & Jungkook enlisted in the military on 12th December 2023 and 13th December 2023 respectively. On 12th December, we got to see the last OT7 selca before 2025. Yoongi was looking sooo cute 😍🤗 I hope he, Jhope, Jin, RM, V, Jimin & Jungkook all of them are safe right now.
To be honest, I was really excited this week as on 13/12/2023, BTS Jin completed his 12 months in the military and discharge day is just 6 months away from now. Thank you Jin. Thank you so so much for making & scheduling your monthly messages. I never thought that I'd ever miss your voice so much.
As I was excited for your discharge day getting closer, an unknown fear lingered within me. I don't know why or what is happening. But I hope everything's gonna be okay.
So, that's a wrap for today. I hope you liked it.
See you in the next chapter.
Take care.
Bye.
