(Y/n pov)

"Ohh fuck where is it? AHH omg.." you were panicking because you lost your badge."Where the hell could it have fallen? Oh was is when I pick up Killua or when I was jumping in the air?"

You put your hand on your head and start ruffling your hair trying to think.

"Y/n...relax.." you turned your head to the sleepy face boy that has my cape over him.

"Ah sorry kil I didn't mean to I just lost the stupid badge." You were furious with yourself you threw everything out of your bag.

Killua start helping you pick things up.

"Y/n we have three days left maybe we can steal like a three badges" Killua grabs your hand.

"Wellll about that..." you blush and use your free hand to cover your face "I lost my badge too.."

Killua let's go which makes you look at him And he had the most 'you're kidding face'

"STOP I KNOW" you turn away and cover your face blushing like crazy.

"I- ok it's ok we can still do something about it let go we got about 72 hours."
Killua thinks

"Actually 48 hours...only 2 days." You got up.

"It's doesn't matter we got time we have to do something." Killua grabs you cape and hands it to you. "Or else your going to have to take the exam again next year"

"Ok let's get started" you point to the left killua noded and ran to the left.

"LETS MEET BACK HERE BY THE END OF THE DAY." You ran to the right.

Two days later. nothing. This was the last day so y/n met up with Killua to go see him off because what is 4 hours going to do? It's ok y/n didn't want her license anyways.

"Tch looks like I'm going to have to do it again." Y/n sighed thinking about how exhausting it is going to be.

Killua just chuckled while riding his skateboard next to her matching your speed. 

"Hey, I will look for you ok? And also take care of that's idiot gon for me" you smile with your eyes closed. You had taken off your cape because it was hot.

"I wil-" Killua was cut off by some one yell

"Y/NNNNN KILLUAAA" both y/n and Killua turn around to see gon, Leorio and kurapika running to y/n and Killua.

Gon jumps into y/n's arms making her fall in the ground. "I'm sorry I was busy please don't be disappointed." Gon puts his head on her shoulders and is holding on to y/n like she is going to die.

Y/n smiles "gon I can never be disappointed in you as long as your not dead then your forgiven. You did worry me though I'm happy to have you back"
Y/n hugs him back.

'They are so...close.' A white hair boy watch's from the side.

"Well because we're all here I have something to say...so I kinda won't be able to go to the next...umm yeah no I'm just say it. I won't be able to pass the exam I lost my badge." Y/n smiles softly

"HUH!???" Gon, Leorio and kurapika say together.

After explaining the situation it was already too late for anyone to do anything. 2 hours left but everyone can see the boat coming towards the shore and besides y/n already accepted it that she was going to fail.

"So yeah" y/n on the ground leaning the tree while holding on to gon. "I want you all to protect gon o-" gon pushed y/n away

"No. There has to be something we can do-" y/n placed her index finger on gon lips.
