(A/N) - Hii Pookiess!! Hope y'all are doing okay! This chapter is basically going to spoil the manga for chapters 298-305. This entire fanfic is basically a spoiler in my ops because i'm so heavily inspired by the original manga.. 😹 Also, i've changed the cover for each chapter, which obviously doesnt belong to me. Hope you guys enjoy and thanks for staying and coping with my awful posting schedule! This is gonna be a long one, so buckle up! (Four more chapters left until i finish and start writing a oneshots book of all of my favourite anime ships </3)

Manbagi was able to convince Ase and Isagi to clear up the classroom for now. While Manbagi waits, she pulls out her book since Tadano had noticed and created some conversation about it. She also plugged in her earbuds and plugged them in, so she doesn't look super desperate that she was waiting for him (even though she is). She was truly excited and nervous. She was super confident in her beliefs that Tadano liked her. At the moment, she didn't care about anything except pouring her heart out and explaining her feelings. Manbagi was still mentally preparing herself and calming down, she felt a small tap on her shoulder that made her jump. She looked behind her to see it was the boy she'd been fantasizing about the entire time. She pulled out one of her earbuds and closed her book.

"OH T-TADANO! Heyyyyyy. Sorry about jumping so suddenly," she giggled, which Tadano slightly blushed of embarrassment.
"Sorry about startling you, I seem to startle everyone these days," he joined in the giggle session.

'Wow, no wonder I fell for him.. he really does brighten my mood by a landslide. I want to live in this moment forever...'

Then the room started to quiet down. It was just the two of them. Manbagi had never thought of the day that she'd be alone with him pouring her heart out to the guy she liked. She almost forgot that this little meet-up was a confession, until Tadano spoke again.

"So... what do you need me to do?"
Manbagi snapped back to reality.
"Ahh, yea. About that.."
"Hm?"
"I have something important to tell you.."

Tadano's face just wen't blank.

"You couldn't have told me on the phone?"
"Well.. this is really important." Manbagi was starting to regret her decision..

'What if he doesn't like me at all?? What if this is all just in my head? What if he actually likes Komi-'  Her thought was interrupted when she saw Ase peeking through the window giving her a thumbs up, telling her to go for it. With her newfound confidence, Manbagi takes a breath.

"Alright, i'll listen." Tadano sat in the chair behind her facing her face-to-face, making serious eye contact.

Manbagi's face turned slightly red, trying to find the right words to use. Tadano noticed her struggle to find words.
"Take your time. Take a breath if you need to, i'll wait."

Manbagi just got more flustured. But she took another breath, and the words just hit her like a bus (MEAN GIRLS REFFRENCE <33).
"I-i'm ready Tadano.."
"I'm all ears."
"I..." she took another breath. "like you.. alot in fact."

Tadano's cheeks turned red. "You like me?? Like- 'like-like' me??"
Manbagi nodded. Tadano couldn't believe what he heard.
'Someone likes me... Holy shit. Someone likes me. But.. do I really like her back..?'
There was silence between the two, until the magical sound-breaker Tadano broke it yet again.

"If you don't mind me asking.."
"Yea.?"
"What made you uhm.. like me?" 

At this point, the two both looked redder than tomatoes. Again, Manbagi was at a loss for words, yet she wanted to tell him everything she was holding back. She glanced back at the window to see not just Ase, but Isagi, Nene, Nakanaka, and Kaede! She smiled at the thought of her friends supporting her.

"Well.. I fell for your personality. You're an amazing person. I like how you can literally read someones thoughts, how you helped Komi find her confidence, how you try your best to cheer up anyone when they're upset.. I'd give the world to have someone like that. I wanna stand by your side, I want to one day wake up to see that smile next to me.. I want you to light up my world Tadano-kun."

Tadano was speechless. He thought he was just 'normal'. His face was like a grill. Hot and red.. He was going to give her a response, but the only thing that came to mind was someone else. Komi. Tadano was so confused. He thought he'd push aside his feelings for her, but it looks like he hadn't. He wanted to get over Komi as soon as possible. His blushing calmed down a bit, and he took a breath. He looked down, then back up at Manbagi, making eye contact between the two.

"Well, if you like someone as normal as me, then i'll try to make you happy!" he smiled and Manbagi grinned from ear-to-ear. Although she finally got what she wanted, she noticed that Tadano didn't seem to be his normal self. She pinched herself, just to check that she wasn't dreaming. She did it. She actually did it. She still saw that Tadano was still looking a little off. She then remembered the way that he looks at Komi.
'Ah.. I see what's going on...'
Manbagi spoke up again.

"Tadano, do you actually like me? Or.. am I just someone for you to use to get over Komi?"
Tadano was shocked at her statement.. "I-i'm not using you-" he looked down. "But I mean..." he sighed. He spoke up as he lifted his head up to talk to her again. "H-how?" She scoffed. 

"Do you really think i'm that stupid? Tadano, i'm not a robot. I can tell when something is up. Now tell me, are you thinking about Komi?"
Tadano almost chocked on his saliva.
"I'll take that as a yes. Tadano, you should know that i'm not Komi."
"B-but, I don't want to let you down. You took all this time trying to prepare yourself to confess, and you said all of those sweet things, and-" Manbagi put a finger on his lips.
"No. I can't do this Tadano. You're still in love with Komi. It's so obvious. I know you don't want to let me down, but you aren't;" she giggled. "You dumbass, I just helped you realize your feelings for her!" 

To her surprise, Tadano started laughing and tearing up. "Manbagi.. Thank-you. You really helped me out here."
"Heh, you welcome you dingbat. Now, go claim your girl!"
"Haha, yea. Thanks again."

Tadano got out of his chair, waved to Manbagi, and went out through the left door. The girls were peeking at them through the right door. As soon as they saw Tadano go into the stairwell, they ran inside.

"AAAA!!! YOU DID IT MANBAGI! HOW WAS IT!?!" asked Ase excitedly.
Manbagi just started crying.
"Ase, calm down a bit.." said Nene. Nene was always like the mother of the group. Not just the group, but the class too. They saw from her reaction that things didn't go as well as planned.
They all hugged her, except Isagi of course. Isagi was a germaphobic, so she never really liked touching people. Or things in that matter.
Manbagi giggled. "T-thanks everyone." Her voice cracked a little bit because she was still crying, but she felt much better with her friends around. Isagi gets a pair of gloves, puts them on and grabs a box of tissues.
"Don't get your nose caught up in a snotty mess.."
"Heh, Thanks Isagi!" she grinned from ear to ear, took a tissue, and blew her nose. She took another one to wipe her tears. That calmed her down a bit.

"Oh, that reminds me, i'm going to call Komi-san!" Manbagi pulls out her phone, and tries not to get any voice cracks while it's dialing. To her surprise, she sees Komi calling her instead!
"Oh Hey Komi! How's everything going?"
"M-manbagi.." she said in her quiet voice. Manbagi made a hand signal to tell everyone to shut up, since Komi's voice is so faint.
"Yes Komi?"
"T-tadano.." Manbagi's face lit up in excitement. "H-he con-confessed to me.. a-and I.. I accepted it.."
"..."
