"Ms.Y/N?.......wake up!"

You can feel small hands push on your side rocking you back and forth you moan and wrap the pillow around your head trying to go back to sleep. You stayed up an extra hour reading the books trying to say some of the spells but almost set your room on fire using an element spell you found. "Wake up....or I'll go get Toby" sally says giggling not even a second later you jumped out of bed and pretended to be awake sally laughed and got off the bed, "Slender is waiting for you downstairs" you nodded and got dress as sally left the room leaving you in peace. Once you got dressed you grabbed both books putting them back into your jacket then headed downstairs to find slender but sadly Toby as well. You pretended not to see him and looked over at Slender, "Morning Slender what are we going to do first" you say putting a smile on your face Slender chuckled and walked over to the front door. "I'm assuming you tried some of the spells last night so we'll start off with combat first and Toby will be assisting us for today" you nod and walk outside to the woods which felt nice.

Once the three of you were far enough into the forest you all stopped in a small clearing you grinned and pulled out one of your books looking for some kind of spell that can help you with fighting or something your eyes landed on the word protection blades "Cross your hands so your right hand can touch your left shoulder and your left hand to your right shoulder then think of two kinds of blades on a knife, swords anything then say the words Hyandae en luhta" you nodded and did as the book said As you closed your eyes thinking of the blade you wanted then said the words "Hyandae en luhta" once you opened your eyes in your hands were two sharp (kind of blade or whatever you wanted). You grinned and looked at slender you didn't realized this magic was so easy to use you didn't even feel anything when it happens. Slender nodded and looked down at the book in your hands.

"Try something a little harder now like a protection spell or something as Toby tries to attack ️you" Slender says pointing towards a spell as you read you can tell it was some kind of ice spell, from the corner fo your eye you can see Toby charging at you with his hatchet you quickly look back down at the words and whispered the words on the page out stretching your hand concentrating on it and whisper, "Cold as the coldest river, as freezing as the deepest tunnel Let my fingers feel as ice, let all I touch feel my cold". Once you finished a thin layer of ice cover your hand just in time as Toby was just about to strike you turn and punched him in the chest Instantly making him numb because of how cold your hand is. You grinned looking down at Toby happy that you got to use him as a test dummy and that you're still mad him so you can hurt him ️without getting in trouble.

You looked back at slender seeing him nodding, "It seems your powers are better than I expected try summoning a spirit of some kind" slender says going over to heal Toby. You nod and sit done in the grass flipping through both books trying to find a spell, the closes you got was spirt animal and dragons you shrugged and decided to do the spirt animal one. You looked down at the book and whispered.

"Guardians of the dream world,
I call you to my side.
Reveal my spirit animal,
my protector and guide.
Show me the power, beauty, and grace
In the radiant eyes if my guardian's face."

After you finished saying that you looked back up seeing nothing happened you frowned and looked over at slender who had Toby standing next to him with a smile on his face. You rolled your eyes and look at slender, "It didn't work" you say closing both books slender just nodded "That's enough for today watch your surroundings çhîłd many people try to hurt your kind that's why there's not that many of your kind left" you nodded and pulled a piece of grass out of the ground twirling it between your fingers. "I'll stay here for awhile" slender nodded, "Just be careful children" with that he teleported away leaving your with Toby who was twitching.

"Y/N I'm sorry for what happened.....Clockwork got jealous and played with me knowing you were coming so when you came you would hate me" toby said walking closer to you. You growl and look back down at the book playing with the piece of grass, "So you where with her plan" Toby twitched making his neck pop. "What?....no I didn't want to she let herself in and did what she wanted" you shaken your head and flipped the page, "you could have stopped her......talking to you still doesn't mean I forgive you" Toby nodded.

"But there is a way to make her say the truth" you point down to the words written on the page the spell of truth.

(Some time later)

12:00pm

"Are you sure you want to do this?" Toby whispered and you sneaked into clockworks room all day you were practicing spells in the forest with Toby they all seemed to work fine just some issues almost setting the forest on fire. The only way to tell if Toby was telling the truth was to find out yourself you nodded and crept into the room "Yes I want to do this" Toby sighed and grabbed your hand, "You know it's like a death wish walking in here!" he whispered loudly. You couldn't help but do a small chuckle. "I'm a walking death wish now, man up" you walk over to the closet and stood in front of the bed looking down at sleeping clockwork then at the spell in the book.

"Run your mouth, your darkest secrets will not be safe with me
Run your mouth, a million lies you have told with glee
Run your mouth, tell the truth"

Clock woke stirred but then went silent you groaned and held out the book with one hand and slammed it closed. "Alone..." Clockwork whispered you grinded and put the book in the jacket "What else?" She stirred but stayed asleep, "Miss the feeling to care for someone" you listened as she spilled some more things. You nodded and walked back towards the door without making any noise Toby followed twitching making some popping noises once out of the death zone and into the safe which was the hallway you turned back to Toby. "Your safe for now but I'm still mad at you" he nodded as you turned and walked away to your room.

"I love you"

You sighed and opened the door to your room, "Love you too
