Chapter 20

I let out a small sigh of relief before saying, "If you say so." I then placed down my book onto the table before following Gun out onto the dusty ground. He placed himself in a fighting stance while I kept a relaxed posture which only seemed to spike his curiosity.

"Kick his a$$!" Damon screamed out, causing me to glance at him for a moment before rolling my eyes as he shouted, "Avenge me sis!"

Gun then spoke, "Feel free to come at me, I am only doing defense to see-" He didn't have to say another word as she bolted forward, becoming a blur to the human eyes as she landed an elbow hit aiming for the center of his back. He moved quickly whirling around blocking her attack with his arm.

A smirk played on Gun's features and boredom left his gaze, "Now this is quite interesting."

I looked over Zoe's shoulder seeing the profile picture Daniel got, a smile spreading across my features, pride swelling in my chest. "It looks great Daniel." I complimented as I slipped the picture out of Zoe's hands gently. "You should ask them to make another copy. You know, use it as a milestone for yourself and give this one to your mom." I added before putting it back on top of the folder.

"Must be nice coming to school one day a week." Zoe stated with a smile as she slipped the picture back inside the folder.

Daniel scratched the back of his head, "Nah, it's not easy there either." I then turned my head looking behind me as I heard a couple girls giggling and complimenting Daniel.

"Wow who's she?" I hear Zoe questioning, causing me to look back over her shoulder seeing a girl seeming younger than us with long black hair and soft eyes. Wait a second ... isn't that Joy who modeled with Daniel?

As Daniel answered their questions I glanced over seeing Jay with a slightly shocked expression causing my brows to furrow as curiosity gleamed in my gaze.

Lunch came around as I sat on the other side of Daniel eating my meal while Duke was sitting on Daniel's other side. Suddenly Vasco seemed to just appear at the foot of the table beaming happily with a confused Jace standing behind him. "Daniel! You are a celebrity!?" He questioned causing Daniel to stop eating his food, smiling sheepishly.

"Huh? Umm... Hey Vasco." He greeted quietly before answering the excited man's question, "No I'm just a trainee."

Vasco still held his bright smile, "Awesome Daniel!"

"No it's not that." Daniel tried to explain.

"So you are a celebrity!" Vasco exclaimed, still beaming brightly.

Daniel shook his head, "No ... that's not it I'm ..."

"Cool Daniel!" Vasco interrupted him, not seeming to be understanding what Daniel meant. "Daniel! Can I be your manager?" He questioned happily.

"No ... I don't-"

"I'll take great care of you!" Vasco added further, interrupting poor Daniel once again.

Daniel smiled sheepishly, "No-"

"Daniel! I want to check out your agency!" Vasco stated suddenly causing Daniel to be taken aback.

"Huh?" Daniel questioned his smile faltering a little bit as Vasco just stared at him with a bright smile, his gaze held innocence. "O-Ok." Daniel finally stuttered out, slouching in defeat, he couldn't say no to Vasco.

I leaned a bit closer to Daniel whispering in his ear, "I'll come with you. I know some people there myself." I tell him, causing him to cast me a glance in surprise. "It'll be nice to pay them a visit." I mumbled to myself.
