I wandered about the school halls, looking for my brother. He sent me a text to come meet him here, since he was busy with something. I walked past a classroom, noticing someone familiar out of the corner of my eye. Looking over to see the same guy with red hair that helped me with those animal abusing thugs.

He seemed to sense my presence, looking over his eyes widening slightly, "Oh ... it's you." He put down the trophy he was holding, walking over.

"You go here?" I questioned as he approached, looking me over.

"I do, but you don't." He spoke, stating the obvious. "What are you doing here?"

I shrug as I entered the classroom, "My brother goes here, he texted me to meet him here because he got busy with something." I watched as the guy took out a lollipop, unwrapping it and sticking it in his mouth. "I'm (Y/N) by the way, we didn't exchange names before."

He blinked in surprise before a grin stretched along his features, "I guess not, I'm James. It's nice to meet you (Y/N). Wanna go out for lunch sometime?" He asked as he slipped his hands inside his pockets.

I smiled up at him, "Sure." I jumped as a fist slammed into the doorframe, I looked over to see my brother, his eyes glaring daggers at James. "Damon? Geez don't scare me like that." I lectured him, my eyes narrowed into a glare.

Damon then grabbed my wrist pulling me back behind him, "Stay away from my sister, pretty boy." Damon growled as he glared at James who only smirked.

"Sorry, but she already agreed to have lunch with me sometime." James chuckled as he twirled the lollipop in his mouth as he walked past the both of us. He slipped a piece of paper into my hand, giving me a wink, "Call me and we can set a date."

I watched him walk away before quickly putting the slip of paper into my backpack before my brother could snatch it. "(Y/N), give me the paper." He spoke firmly, holding out his hand.

"Will you cut it out? You're acting weird." I say with a roll of his eyes. "He helped me out before, it's only right I repay him." I told him, as I walked away, not waiting for him to follow. "Are we going home now or not?"

Damon sighed as he followed behind me, "I just don't trust him. Never have." shoving his hands in his pockets, glaring in James's direction for a moment longer before continuing onward.

"You trust Goo and Gun before?" I questioned, growing annoyed.

"Yeah, I still do. But him ... something about him is off." Damon replied, his tone serious. "Just be vigilant around him."

Not long after the school closed down, no one knows why, however I heard my father mentioning closing it down, hoping to drive someone away.

I still saw James though, the two of us becoming good friends as the years went by. He was the one to convince me to imprison my father, while he claimed he had something else to take care of. I didn't know it was Jake's father at the time.

I sat in the chair with the tea cup placed in front of me, looking up to see DG, "I didn't keep you waiting for long did I?" He questioned with a smile, as he went to sit down across from me.

I shook my head, "No, I just got here." I replied as I placed a bag of fast food on the table. "I got your favorite." DG took the bag eagerly, opening it and taking out a burger. I waited for a moment, watching him eat his burger in delight before asking, "Why did you call me here?"
