Our Time Together

Few days later...

"There's an investigation of the two owls"

"You mean?"

"There's two of them.."

...

"Mr.Yoshimura is one eyed ghoul your child?"

Kaneki asked Mr.Yoshimura as they sat upstairs away from hearing ears wanting to know the answer that has been sitting in his mind for a while since that night he had talked to Yomo.

Mr.Yoshimura looked over at Kaneki having his usual calm demeanor as he thought about the questions he was asking him.

"As well as how you're connected to the Aogiri tree?"

"A long time ago.."

Mr.Yoshimura started telling him a story about a young ghoul named Kuzen who was trying to survive in the lonely world as he consumed humans and killing his own kind up until he worked for this organization giving him food, clothing and a home because what he had to do for them to stay alive in this world but even though he had everything he wanted he was still lonely with no one around but then everything changed when he met a pretty human woman named Ukina.

They began to talk and seeing each other as Kuzen didn't usually open up to anyone especially a human but she was different than other humans.

One day Kuzen felt hungry his eyes were red blood spattered on his face not realizing that Ukina had seen him as they made eye contact with each other. A broken heart he felt as the person he cared and love for has seen him this way many thoughts came into his mind but not killing her he couldn't kill her but to Ukina didn't care about him being a ghoul she love and accept him for who he was because she truly loved him for him and not because he was a ghoul.

That night their grew stronger as months passed they had a beautiful baby girl after the danger of having a baby who's mom is a human and their dad is a ghoul it was a problem during the pregnancy but for Ukina the loved she had for her baby and Kuzen she needed to do what she had to do for her baby to grow big and healthy.

One small family between a human and a ghoul changed for Kuzen for the better as finally felt happy and not lonely but happiness didn't last long for too long the organization he worked for had killed his one true happiness seeing that she was a journalist and getting information about the organization she had a hit on her until the end leaving her lover their baby girl in the world who he now hated even more than before.

But at the end Kuzen was lonely once again after giving his daughter up knowing that if the organization knew about her things wouldn't end well for the both of them and deep down inside he didn't want to that to her but it was better for her instead of staying with him and ending up getting hurt or be dead because of him.

Time had passed for Kuzen as he got older he heard about the one eyed owl hearing many things about this owl but he knew that the owl was his child and seeing that his was getting hurt by fighting against the CCG he knew what to do to protect his child even if the child doesn't know him.

Finishing up the story Kaneki eyes were widened feeling sad for Kuzen as he asked Mr.Yoshimura if he's Kuzen as he kept quiet.

"May I ask you something Kaneki?"

...

"What's going on?"

"Omg T-Touka he was just here!.."

"W-What-"

Without even saying anything else Touka ran after Kaneki hoping to see him before he disappears again as many questions ran through her mind wanting to know answers especially after everything that had happened over these past few months she needed to get a few things off her chest.
