Kai's POV
Anger
That's what I felt when Maze jumped into Oliver's arms at the airport. His arms wrapping around her lower back made me envy him. Her smile, knowing that he made her smile like that, made me furious. That he made her squeal. Made her run for him. Her arms wrapped around his neck. God, what is happening to me?
"God, I want to vomit." Ethan mutters beside me, snapping me out of my fit. My head turns, studying his stance. He looks like he's ready to pounce. His face a light shade of red, his jaw clenched and his knuckles are practically white.
His glare softens when Avery comes strolling out behind them, scoffing. Reaching us she says, "Get a room, am I right?" She smiles.
Ethan shakes his head but rakes her up and down. He nods. "Avery." He greets her.
She stares at him. "Rat.", she retorts making the ends of my lips twitch upwards.
Maze and 'Oli' come practically prancing towards us. I roll my eyes.
Oli nods his head towards Ethan but Ethan just glares. Oli practically shrinks in his gaze but then he turns to me. The nerve.
"Kai this is Oli, Oli this is Kai, my brothers best friend." Maze introduces us cheerfully with a bright smile on her face. Oli holds his hand out to me as my glare moves down to his hand then back up to his face. I send a quick nod. Masie's smile drops and she frowns. Great I made her frown.
