It All Began With A...
Chapter Sixteen
The Dark Side
Seeing the chaos, Meghan found her opportunity to sneak into the library. She had been waiting for Norway and England to leave and now that Noway was unconscious and England had to help since he was the only one left who knew how to heal using magic since Romania was gone once again.
She looked around the hall making sure the coast was clear before entering the library, she closed the door behind her and looked around. Everything was almost the same way it was besides the mess of papers and books that sat on the table.
"Alright, I got the other book from that spell, so maybe there's a black magic book near there." Meghan said to herself as she approached the shelves. Her green eyes scanned the shelves as he read the titles of many books by pulling one out at a time.
"None of these look good enough.." She muttered, moving to another shelf, only to stop as an open book on a desk in the corner beckoned her to get closer. As she did so, she looked it over. It was opened to a spell that could wake a person up, but in doing so, the caster would loose some of their own energy. She skimmed through the pages and smiled as she read over a few spells: How to cast fire, ice, how to control a victim, and many more.
The door burst open and she jumped, picking up the book and hiding behind the shelf, she looked around the book case to see England, "Where is it? Where is it?" He asked aloud, scrambling through the books on the table. "Ah, there you are! Thanks Mrs. Fairy for the help!" He laughed as he picked up a book and smiled at the air before him. Meghan stared in confusion, "What the fuck?" She muttered as he waved goodbye and ran back outside.
Meghan came out of hiding and walked over towards the opened door, with the book in her hands she walked outside and made her way upstairs to her room and sat down at the foot of the bed. She looked at the cover of the book and read the title under her breath, "Bondevik's Black Magic."

"Si, so there I was and I just looked over at him and called him by his name, being nice and what the fuck not, and then he goes, 'I don't think I can handle a normal conversation with you, please just call me bastard.'" Romano said to Italy, "I see!"
"Yeah, like the one time I tried to be nice to the bastard and he denies my friendship!" Romano added, "I mean, who would want to do that? I'm a fucking Italian, I'm like a magnet for friends!"
"Y-Yeah haha.." Italy laughed awkwardly, wanting Spain to join into the conversation.
"Ay, isn't that one of the girls? Um, Maddie!" He asked as he pointed towards a figure who pushed the gate doors open and skipped closer.
"Yeah, I think so!" Italy cheered.
"Hello there!" Maddie chirped as she waved her hand, her fist was still cut up from when she was intensely knocking on the door and the blood had dried down her arm.
"Ugh, what happened to your arm, bella?" Romano asked, quickly noting her arm.
"Oh, no one answered the door when I was knocking and well," she laughed, "You know how that goes!" She looked past the three men and looked at the door, "Can I enter now?" She asked.
"Oh, ugh, yeah! You remember where the kitchen is right?" Spain asked, to which Maddie nodded, "Okay, the others should be right outside of there, maybe in the living room that's close to it, but please don't enter the kitchen, understood?" His voice growing stern.
