"I have been patiently awaiting for your return, remember?" he whispered softly, his voice filled with longing.
"What is it that you want from me?" I questioned, my voice barely above a whisper...

~Dream/Flashback~
I would recognize that laughter anywhere, echoing through the air like a sweet melody.
Walking through her enchanted garden, I spot Cloee gracefully crouching down, carefully selecting herbs and flowers.
A gentle smile forms on my lips as I observe her dainty hands delicately plucking each herb, treating them with utmost care.
Beside her, an open book rests, and my curiosity piques as I see her placing some of the flowers between its pages.
Perplexed, she always finds a way to bewilder me with her actions every day.
Glancing at the flowers I brought with me, a soft shade of purple, I couldn't resist picking them up on my way here.
Perhaps she would appreciate them for a recipe or some other purpose.
"It's impolite to stare, you know," she remarks, as the book beside her abruptly shuts and a gust of wind sweeps through the garden.
Her hair dances gracefully as she turns to face me, the book vanishing with a flick of her fingers. I've learned not to question her peculiar abilities any longer.
"So I've heard," I finally respond, realizing that I've been so lost in my thoughts without uttering a single word.
"Where have you been?" She questions, sniffing the air around me. Her face tenses slightly, forming a small frown.
"My apologies, my love. I went out to get something for you before coming here," I say, taking a step closer.
Nervously, I tighten my grip on the flowers, Is she mad at me?
I can't help but wonder if I have done something to upset her. Cloee's sudden change in demeanor makes me second-guess my actions. Did I choose the wrong flowers? Did I forget something important? My mind races with possibilities, each one more unlikely than the last.
But as I approach her, I see a flicker of recognition in her eyes. The tension in her face begins to fade, replaced by a softness that I know all too well. She takes a deep breath, inhaling the scent of the flowers I hold in my hands.
