Hockey Imagines

I woke up the next morning and I was on top of Conner with my head on his chest and our legs were tangled together. I immediately got worried because his head was resting on top of mine and I was an active sleeper, I was worried I had hurt him even more.

I wiggled my way out of his arms and laid next to him, and he immediately started to wake up. One of his arms were moving around like he was looking for me and the other was holding his jaw. I grabbed his hand letting him know I was still there and he slowly opened his eyes.

I sent him a sad smile and asked "do you want me to get you some pain killers and another ice pack". He shook his head and I looked at him confused, he then wrapped an arm around my waist and brought me closer to him. I tried again to put some space between us but he let out a wine. "I don't want to hurt you, I probably already did in my sleep and I don't want to again".

Conner just looked at me then grabbed his phone and I got a text saying "stop worrying you are not hurting me I just want to cuddle with my girl". I looked up at him and said "I have a feeling you're lying about me hurting you in my sleep. I'm going to go get you an ice pack and some pain killers then I have to go shower before my brothers get here".

He just sent me a grumpy look at the fact that I would not cuddle him. I kissed his hand and tried to get out of bed but he pulled me back. He pointed at my lips and then his lips and I shook my head. "I don't want to hurt you, and I know I will if I kiss you". He gave me a look and picked up his phone and typed "For the last time you won't hurt me just give me a kiss".

I just gave him a pointed look and said "You can't even talk Conner which means you are in a lot of pain. If I kiss you have to move your jaw and you are supposed to keep it as still as possible till your surgery". I gave him a kiss on the forehead hoping that would satisfy him, and left to go get what he needed.

After I showered Conner went to get in and he texted me that he would be fine and to stop worrying so much as it was bad for my anxiety. While Conner was in the shower I got a text from my brothers telling me that they were here but the front desk lady would not let them up.

I called her saying it was ok, and then they were on there way up. I went back to Conners room and knocked on the bathroom door telling him my brothers were here. He said he would be out in a second and I then scolded him for talking but he said he was not moving his jaw so it was fine.

My brothers knocked on the door and I opened it to be swept into a hug by Luke who was a giant compared to be. I was 5'3" and he was 6'2". "Hi Lukey" I mumbled into his chest. He just hugged me tighter if that was even possible. I then heard Jack said "Don't crush her Luke, and let me have a turn".

Luke put me down and I was pulled into another hug by Jack but his arm was in a sling so he was not lifting me off the ground like Luke did. I pulled away a bit and put my hand on the sling looking at him worried and he said "I'm ok the trainers don't think it's too bad, I might miss some games but I'm ok I promise".

I just nodded at him and hugged my older brother again, and Luke joined the hug. I had missed them so much. I then heard foot steps coming down the hall way so I wiggled out of my brother's arms and went to go meet Conner. I grabbed his hand and said "I'm sorry for not cuddling you this morning or kissing you. I just don't want to hurt you, but I need to trust you that if you say it's ok then it's ok". He sent me a smile and I stood on my tip toes and kissed him gently.

We then walked down the hall to go meet my brothers who we found sitting in Conners living room in some chairs waiting. When they saw us they stood up and I said "Both of you be nice". They looked at me with a look I could not read. "Jack, Luke this is Conner as you already know, and Babe these are my brothers".

Conner stuck his hand out and mumbled "It's nice to finally meet you guys Rory has told me so much about you". They looked at him surprised that he was talking and Jack spoke up and said "It's nice to meet you too, I already like you based on what my parents and sister am told me, but I have one thing to say. You hurt my sister in any way and I will hurt you to the point where you wish you had never been born". Conner just looked normal and he mumbled again "I would never hurt her as long as I live". He pulled me in by my waist and I smiled at him.

We then moved our way to the living room so we could all sit down. Luke looked at Conner and said "We are sorry about your jaw dude, trust me our whole team feels bad well minus the dude who did it. And trust me when I say he heard it from coach". Conner just smiled at him in thanks and I said "It hurts him to talk and he's not supposed to move his mouth that much that why he's not talking".

Jack then noticed that I was sitting with some distance between me and Conner and he asked why. Conner looked at me wondering that as well. And I said "I don't want to hurt him so the more distance I put between us the better because then there is a less likely chance I will hurt him".

Jack and Luke just look at me then Luke said "You are just like Liv whenever I even get the littlest bruise she won't touch me and it drives me insane". Then Jack said "The same goes for my Rory (A/N: Jacks girlfriend and sister have the same name) and it drives me crazy. When we are hurt everyone else it treating us like babies and we don't want our girlfriends to do that. We just want to be loved from you guys which means more kisses and more cuddles".

You looked at Conner as a way of asking if this was true and he nodded his head and you immediately felt bad. You got closer to him and put your head on his chest wrapping an arm around him and you gave him a light kiss. He smiled at that and wrapped his arm around you keeping you close to him. You brothers smiled at this noticing how happy you were with him.

You guys just kept talking your brothers getting to know Conner even if you were answering most of the questions. After about an hour of just talking your brothers said they had to go back to there hotel as they had some team meeting. You stood up from Conners arms and hugged Jack first.

"I'm going to miss you guys" you said. Jack kissed the top of your head and hugged you tight then said "We are only a phone call away and you can always visit us any time you want". You separated from Jack and hugged Luke and he said "We will also all be at all star weekend even if Jack and Conner aren't competing, so we will see you then". They both then hugged you again and said there goodbyes then walked out the door.

You turned to Conner and said "let me guess you want to go lay in bed and cuddle for the rest of the day because I would not cuddle you yesterday". He just smiled and nodded at you, so that exactly what you guys did for the rest of the day. Just laid in bed and cuddled while watching TV.
