The Crossover

We're leaving in 20 minutes, and everyone is up and ready besides Cameron. It's still dark outside as I head out to Cameron's car to throw my stuff in the back.

We decided to take Haydens SUV and Cameron's bronco, and everyone will be taking turns driving the 14 hours to get to the hotel across from where the concert will be at.

Oh, and I was nominated by Ice Princess to drive first.

"Hey Nate" Bri says as she throws her stuff in Cameron's car also.

Cameron Bri Lucas Owen and I will be going in Cameron's car then everyone else will be going with Hayden in his car.

"Would you be able to go get Cameron but don't wake her up just bring her down and put her in the car. I already put her stuff in the car and if you do wake her up just know she'll be absolutely pissed."

"Yeah, I can but one thing though doesn't she get up early usually anyways."

"Yeah, don't question it I know I don't."

Now I'm heading to Cameron's room to get her. When I open the door Cameron's covered in blankets and pillows.

"What are you doing" she mumbles as I go to pick her up.

"What's it look like I'm doing."

"Listen here Cap I could be getting sleep right now but instead I'm up because of you."

"You get up for practice even earlier than this and you're complaining."

"You're such an ass."

"I don't care, get your ass up and let's go."

"I only get to sleep in like this a few days so respectfully fuck off."

"Fine, we're leaving in 15 minutes, I'll come get you then so you can go back to sleep."

"Fine."

15 minutes later when it's time to go I'm back in Cameron's room Grabbing her, her phone and one of her blankets before going back down to the car.

When I get down to the cars everyone is waiting for me. I put her in the passenger seat and buckle her in then go to the driver side and pull out of the driveway.

I've been driving an hour now with everyone else passed out in the car and Owen's snoring. Owen is up to drive when I'm done and then when he get's done driving we all talked abut stopping for breakfast last night.

I finished driving a while ago and now I'm sitting in the back behind Cameron's seat with Bri sitting in the middle and Lucas on the other side of her.

I'm jolted awake by the car coming to a complete stop.

"Come on let's go ass face it's time for breakfast" Lucas says.

I walk into the diner we stopped at and everyone's sitting in a corner booth as the waitress comes over.

"What can I get you guys to drink" she asks us.

Everyone orders their drink while the waitress walks away, and we all look at our menus.

The waitress comes back with our drink and takes our food orders.

I'm sitting by Cameron, and I can tell the waitress is glaring at her, but Cameron is yet to notice unless she's good at playing it off.

"What can I get you" the waitress asks Cameron in a snippy tone.

"I'll have the French toast with bacon and a fruit cup on the side."
