Nate
Somethings different between Cameron and I and I've finally realized what the guys have been saying I just didn't notice until now.
I like her.
I've liked her since she jumped into my arms when she found out we won the competition for making the most bracelets.
I have no idea what to say. I never expected to feel like this about someone, especially the girl that moved in our senior year and started helping to coach the team.
Cameron's starting to move in my arms, and I can tell she's going to wake up soon because her eyes are starting to flicker.
"Hey" I say to her as her eyes flick open.
"Hi" she says with a smile.
I swear if my heart could do a flip, it would be right now."What time is it."
"8:30" I tell her.
"I've got class in an hour" she says as she starts to get up.
Cameron left the house an hour ago and we have practice in an hour.
"So, you and Cam" Bri says as she walks in my room without knocking.
"What" is all I say back.
"She told me everything last night and no matter what you say I know you like her" she tells me.
"Ok."
"You know she likes you right even if it doesn't seem like it" she also tells me.
"But anyways do with that as you please" she says as she walks out.
We are heading to practice and Bri's words are still circulating in my mind.
When we walk in Cameron is already on the ice talking to Coach.
She usually gets to practice as soon as we are going out on the ice, but I guess today's different.
When we finish getting all our equipment on, we head out onto the ice. Coach is waiting for us as the girls are sitting on the bleachers.
"So, the girls actually gave me an idea for practice today" he starts to say.
"So, for today we will not need our stick or helmets, today is a fun practice a practice that involves figure skating" he says as I can feel my face droop as I look over at Cameron that's smiling.
"Come on girls" he says as Cameron and Bri get on the ice and start doing spins and everything.
"Come on boys you're turn" Bri says as she points at Lucas and me.
"Oh, hell no" Lucas says as Bri and Cameron start to skate towards us.
Some how the girls end up getting us and everyone else to at least try and skate around like they do.
Cameron and I are now holding hands and spinning in circles, and we end up falling over and she's on top of me.
"Sorry" she says as she tries to get up but can't, so I pull her to her feet with me.
