It was a shit morning for Leon. Not only did Ada refuse to blow him, but he also spilled apple juice on his two-thousand-dollar leather jacket. Maybe it was the hangover or the ominous news reports, but he knew his day wouldn't get any better.
Ever since the androids got their freedom, his work was as chaotic as ever. Rumors of a terrorist organization hell-bent on destroying human-android relations echoed around his office day-round. And when he got the call to meet his superior, it was apparent what the subject was about.
He sat by the front door, lacing his boots and sulking about the mercenary in his bedroom. He knew their relationship would never exceed enemies with benefits, but god, was she a good lay. And he wouldn't regret all those nights they spent together, even if, in the end, she wasn't exactly his girl.
Ada sauntered out of his room, his black button-up draped loosely over her figure. She leaned against the hallway door, pushing her messy hair out of her face.
"I'm leaving for work but I'll be back tonight." He grumbled brusquely, standing up and zipping his jacket. He fumbled for his keys, resting his hand on the silver knob of his door.
"I don't know if I can fit that into my schedule, Leon." She replied in a sultry tone, grabbing his double-d phat ass, so big he needed a sports bra to stop it from clapping and alerting the lickers.
"You sure you can't make room for me?" He smirks, giving his ass cheeks a clap.
"Tempting offer, but I'll have to decline."
"Sometimes I can't understand you."
She shot him a cheeky smile before slapping his ass as he left the threshold of his condo.
His daily commute to work was nothing out of the ordinary. Light rain pelted his newly dyed black hair, just how Ada liked it. He walked into his office, greeting the new bimbo android secretary. Why did they design busty androids? Not that he was complaining—just curious.
"Good morning, Mr. Kennedy. Big boss man is waiting for you." She welcomed him in her artificial valley girl accent. It was one of the many new add-ons Cyberlife offered after the Android Revolution, probably to save their business after the android lawsuits threatened to shut them down.
"Thanks, Raquel." He grunted, pressing the button to the top floor of the elevator.
"Hey, keep that open!" An annoyingly familiar voice hit his ears. And he silently prayed for the doors to close quickly. Pinching the bridge of his nose as a rather blunt, Chris stuck his hand between the almost closed doors, prying his way into the elevator.
"If it isn't Leon Kennedy." Chris grinned, his personality taking up half the space in this cramped elevator.
"Real pleasure, Redfield." Leon seethed, his voice laced with sarcasm.
"So, when are you gonna, you know, take my sister out?"
"For the last fucking time, I'm not sleeping with her."
"Come on, we're bros. Do it for me."
"What the fuck is wrong with you?"
"Please, you know fat ass genetics come from the father's side of the family? And she really likes you."
"Don't shit me with your excuses." He didn't like the soulless blue-eyed stare of Claire, and he was pretty sure she was a lesbian. Unless he hallucinated when he saw her and Jill making out at the shooting range. But he wouldn't tell Chris that because he's the biggest homophobe to ever exist. The only reason he killed Wesker is because he thought that when he threatened to finish Chris off, it was entirely sexual. Not only was Chris wrong, but he was also stupid.
"Well, this is my stop; consider my offer, bro. Seriously." Chris pat Leon's back so hard he knocked the wind out. Thank fucking goodness. As soon as he could breath, Leon sighed in relief, eyeing Chris cautiously as he stepped out of the elevator. Leon could feel the elevator physically lift as the inhumanly large guy left.
He took a swig of his "apple juice." A little habit he picked up from his many vacations, and he needed it after that interaction. He held his breath when the elevator dinged. He was on the top floor. Nothing good happened up there.
"Come in, Kennedy," Big Bossman spoke, turning in his comically large leather chair, stroking a cat deviously. "I've been expecting you." Of-fucking-course he was. They had an appointment.
"I have a mission.""Goody," Leon said flatly.
"I know how much you love to sulk alone, but you have a partner this time."
"Even better." Leon turned when he heard footsteps approach from behind him. A brown-haired android stuck his hand out, chirping loudly. "Hi, my name is Connor, I'm the Android sent by Cyberlife."
"My partner is an Android?" Leon stared at Connor, refusing his handshake. The big Bossman cocked a brow.
"I've chosen the top agents in each respective field. If you have a problem, I'll gladly kill Sherry."
"Like hell... What's the mission?"
"You're well aware of whispers of the terrorist group known as Cybrella." Big Bossman continued, his booming voice causing everything in the room to rumble.
"Yes, they rose into prominence for their violent beliefs about Android freedom." The teacher's pet of, an android added. What a suck-up. Leon thought, glaring at his soon-to-be partner.
"They have been developing a new virus called the C-virus. Normally, this wouldn't be a concern because I frankly hate other people. But it apparently affects androids as it does people. Causing violent, disturbing behavior. Like robo-rabies. And my wife is worried. She's an android, you see. The most beautiful model, if you don't mind me saying. I'm so lucky to have her; she's the love of my li-"
"Sir. Please." Leon interrupted. He'd need a lot more "apple juice" after this. Big Bossman cleared his big manly throat.
"Ah, yes. As this involves a familiar virus, I've called you Leon. And as this involves deviant like qualities in androids. Not in an robophobic way, my wife's an android, you know. Just saying. Sexiest android... Sorry. I've chosen you, Connor. Here's the file of all the information we've gathered as of late." Big Bossman ruffled through his messy drawers, sliding a file towards them. Coffee stains... And something else, who knew with the boss? "Now get out of my office, I call my wife at this hour. You heard me, you're dismissed."
"Yes, sir, I won't disappoint." Leon dipped his head, taking the file, though carefully. He walked back to the door, holding in an offensive remark as he heard Connor follow behind him.
They both shared an elevator ride down, much to Leon's dismay."If we're going to work together, we should start with a proper introduction. I am Connor, and you must be?"
"Leon S. Kennedy. But don't try to warm up to me. I know how you're kind functions"
Connor straightened his tie. "I understand how you feel. But I insist, trust between partners is key to a missions success."
"Don't be so sure." Leon glared at Connor. Not at all looking forward to this new mission.
