"Screw you!"

For a little while, it was just the three of you, since you'd all woken up much earlier than usual. You were free to clean in peace and quiet, omitting the occasional scathing remark from Katsuki about how you and Izuku weren't cleaning well enough, or something like that.

Later, your other classmates had also risen, and they had apparently been filled in on your situation.

"They got in a fight?!"

"House arrest, seriously?!"

"Are they stupid?"

"They must be idiots!"

"It's truly nonsense!"

These were the sorts of remarks being echoed among your fellow students, and every time you glanced over at Katsuki, you could see him gritting his teeth and struggling to hold his anger at bay.

"Midoriya and Bakugou getting into a fight isn't too surprising, but it's strange that you're involved as well," Shouto said, frowning at you.

You scratched your head. "Ah, yes... about that. Well, I kind of knew they'd be fighting, and I might have been able to stop them, but instead I just kind of... watched. It really seemed like they needed to sort through their issues in their own way, and in the end, I just didn't have the heart to interfere."

"Yeah," Shouto smiled. "That sounds like something you'd do."

"Was that a compliment?"

"Oh. I thought that much was obvious. By the way, Bakugou," he said, turning towards the blonde. "What are you going to do about the provisional license supplementary lessons?"

"Piss off," Katsuki fumed, vacuuming even faster. "It's none of your damn business."

"Right, you two are going to be taking supplementary lessons together. Well, I'm sure that once you get the chance to redo the exam, you'll pass with flying colors," you grinned.

"Thanks," Shouto nodded, a bit of color rising to his cheeks. "I'm glad you have faith in me."

"Play nice with Inasa-kun though, okay? I know you two are still working on how to handle each other. Once I'm off house arrest, we can have that group hangout I was talking about earlier! That'll help you guys feel more comfortable together, hopefully."

Shouto's smile, modest as it was, still hadn't disappeared. "Alright. As long as you're there, I'm sure it'll all go well."

Behind you, Katsuki seemed to have overheard the conversation, and he made a loud gagging noise.

"Stop flirting, for shit's sake! I'm trying to clean here!"

"Oopsie. I should get back to work too," you chuckled.

"We're leaving for the new semester's opening ceremony anyways. Good luck," Shouto said, and with one last brief nod, he followed the rest of the students out of the dorms.

Just like that, the dorms were quiet again. The humming of the vacuums could be heard, but otherwise, nobody said anything.

Until Katsuki cleared his throat.

"Y'know, about your shoot style," he began, clearly addressing Izuku-even though he wasn't bothering to look back at him.

Izuku did the same. "What... about it?"

"Your wind-up motions are too big. Even with your speed, I was just barely able to react in time. It's not well-suited for a slugfest," he grumbled.

"I-Is that so?"
