Julian and I spent the night with my parents at their kitchen table explaining everything. They already had a hard time accepting the fact that he was my professor, regardless of the fact that I met him before classes even started. But now they know he is Liam's half brother. This might be too much for them to handle.
Even as we arrive to the hotel, my mind is constantly replaying our conversations from last night, the constant questions from my parents. Today Julian and I left my parents house and are finishing our vacation in Florida by spending a few days in Disney world. It's my favorite place, but also Julian's never been here so of course I have to show him.
We enter our hotel room at the Animal Kingdom resort. It's the typical size of a hotel room, but the decor fits the theme of Animal Kingdom, giving an African safari vibe. I go to the window and look out, immediately becoming excited as I see that our room overlooks the Savannah. I can see several different animals walking through the grass, one of which being a beautiful, tall giraffe.
"Babe! Come look!" I yell to Julian, excited from watching the animals. He comes over to me and wraps his arms around me as we watch the scenery together, enjoying watching the animals together.
We spend the rest of the night exploring the resort and eating at the restaurant here. I wake up early the next morning, unable to sleep due to the excitement of knowing I will be showing Julian around Disneyworld today.
I get ready in record time, doing my hair and make up. I throw on my jean shorts and a tank top and my tennis shoes, taking a look in the mirror once I'm dressed. My blonde hair is straight, falling past my shoulders. My skin is now tanned from my time in Florida. My gray eyes are wide and bright with excitement, ready for the adventure that today will bring.
I look over to Julian, watching him place his sunglasses on his head as he grabs his wallet and meets me at the door. He looks handsome in his khaki shorts and t shirt. I grab his hand and pull him through the resort until we are at the exit.
Even as we get off of the bus I can't contain my excitement, pulling Julian's hand towards the entrance as he trails behind me.
We make our way through the zoo, taking time and looking at every habitat we come across. We take the typical tourist photo of us in front of the Tree of Life, loving the blue macaws as they fly through the sky.
We continue taking photos all throughout the day while drinking our margaritas. I can Julian is truly enjoying his first Disney trip as he is smiling the whole day.
We end our day with my favorite part of Animal Kingdom, the safari ride. I allow Julian to sit on the outside since it's his first time, giving him a better view. I smile in amazement as we travel through the Savannah. No matter how many times I've been on this safari ride, it's never the same and it's always just as exciting. We drive through the green grass, we watch as the cattle cross our path. I can't contain my excitement and I have difficulty staying in my seat as the giraffes come into view, a baby giraffe at the heels of its mom. Julian wraps his arm around me and pulls him into him as we continue on the safari, enjoying watching all the animals as we finish the safari ride.
We arrive back to the hotel exhausted, our feet killing us as we open the door to our room. I waste no time stripping down, getting my sweat coated material off of me. Julian does the same, standing right next to me as he removes his clothes.
A yelp leaves me as Julian picks me up unexpectedly, tossing me on his shoulder. He heads to the bathroom and I can hear him fumble with the handle of the shower as he turns it on, the sound of the water ricocheting off of the tile. He doesn't wait for the water to heat up, instead just walking straight into the water.
