As you both continued walking in silence, with Mikey still holding your hand tightly, you couldn't help but feel a sense of wonderment at the surreal surroundings that had unfolded before you. The bridge, the river, and the soft grass beneath your feet created an ethereal ambiance that seemed to transport you to another realm entirely.

"Where are we?" you thought to yourself, taking in the breathtaking scenery with wide eyes. The vast expanse of the plain, illuminated by the twinkling stars above, held an otherworldly beauty that left you awestruck.

Mikey's voice broke the silence, pulling you out of your reverie. "I found this place when I was exploring around this area randomly," he explained, his tone tinged with nostalgia.

"Doubt it," you blurted out before you could stop yourself, immediately regretting your choice of words. "Poor choice of words, Anuva!" you scolded yourself inwardly as you turned to face Mikey, expecting him to be offended.

But instead of reacting negatively, Mikey looked at you with understanding in his eyes. "Draken is against me... he didn't like that we went against Pah-chin's request," he confessed, his voice tinged with concern.

Taking a deep breath, you searched for the right words to offer comfort and reassurance. "Give him time to process everything. Sometimes, all it takes is a little patience and understanding to bridge the gap between differing viewpoints. Trust in the bond you share with Draken, and trust that he'll come around."

A small smile tugged at the corners of Mikey's lips as he looked at you gratefully. "Arigatou, Anuva-chin," he said softly, his gratitude evident in his eyes.

"Anytime," you replied with a smile of your own, feeling warmth spread through you at his words. As he squeezed your hand gently, you couldn't help but notice the slight dampness against your skin.

Glancing down, you realized that your hand, covered in bandages, was stained with blood, a stark reminder of the events that had unfolded earlier.

Mikey's widened eyes reflected his realization, and for a moment, you both stood there in silence.

"Sorry!" he exclaimed, his voice tinged with concern.

"It's not hurting anymore," you replied, mustering a smile despite the discomfort. You met his gaze as he squeezed your hand again, but this time, you didn't flinch. However, you couldn't hide the slight watering of your eyes as you fought to conceal the pain.

"We're going to the hospital again," Mikey declared firmly, determination etched in his features as he reached for your other hand, ready to lead you back.

But you hesitated, knowing you couldn't bear another round of needles and sterile corridors. "Or we can go to my house instead," you suggested, hoping for a reprieve from the clinical atmosphere.
