1. Soulmates are people who are fated to be together romantically. Soulmates occur only for supernatural creatures such as vampires, witches, bannshees, faeries, etc. There are rare cases when supernatural creatures get as their chosen one a human.
2. A Soulbond is a mystic bond between two or more people, who feel drawn to become lovers. After the bond is completed, the soulmates/group of soulmates share a telepathic (mindlink type) connection and are able to feel eachothers emotions/pain.
3. Soulmarks are a symbol of the initials of your soulmate/soulmates. They appear on different parts of your body at the age of 17. Of course, if you are a human and you get turned into a vampire later your marks will imediatly appear the moment you've been turned. If the soulmate was not born the mark is white, if they were born the mark turns gold, when you meet them it turns into black and if they die it turns into grey. Soulmarks mannifest with with a sensation of burning that intensifies the closer your soulmate/soulmates get to you. It stops only when you make your first eye contact with them.
4. Mating. Soulmates may complete the bond and become one by sexual intercourse with each other. Usually, each supernatural creature claims their partner in different ways such as: Vampires/Werewolves/Faeries mark their soulmate by biting them, witches/banshees mark their soulmates by transfering their essence to their partner, etc. After mating, vampires and werewolves get more possesive of their significant other/others, since its in their nature.
5. Soul dreams manifest a few days after the soulmarks appear. Soul dreams consist of dreaming each night of different moments related to your partners life. Their purpose is to make soulmates meet faster.
6. Soul separation. If one meets their soulmate/soulmates and get separated from them to a period of minimum 1 week, the soulmate/soulmates will get more possessive than usual and their sexual desire for their partner will grow significantly.
