It has been a couple of weeks after Ryliee and the Turtles defeated Kranng Prime, after their celebration Ryliee returned back to Enigma, to let the people know they were safe. She stayed there for three weeks before returning to New York.

The Turtles and Ryliee run around the city, celebrating their victory after defeating the Kraang and their leader, Kraang Prime.
"And then I took my sai, and shortened that kraangdroid's skull. Wham!" Raph slams his sai into a conditioning unit, "So cool!"
"Sure Raph, but I used my uncanny scientific knowledge To bring down an interdimensional portal. Equally as awesome!" Donnie exclaims.
"What about Master Splinter?" Leo chimes in, "Wish I could've seen him take out the Shredder."
"I still can't believe I took on Kranng Prime head on and still alive!" Ryliee adds.
Mikey skids to a stop, "And let's not forget Cottage Cheese Demon. If we didn't stuff him in that microwave, the earth would be drowned in living cheese!"
Raph has his arms crossed as the others stare at the youngest, "For the 22nd time, Mikey, there was no Cottage Cheese Demon, ever!"
Mikey has his arms crossed as he was looking away, "Did you see him?"
"No!"
"Then how do you know? Huh?"
"What?" "He's got a point. Just go with it." Ryliee mumbles.
"I-that-that doesn't even make-" Raph sighs before smiling, "Sure, man. Cheese Demon.
Whatever you say." "We are awesome!" "Ow!" "Yes we are!" "Yeah, boy!" "High three!" "Unh!" "Yes!"

The five run across the rooftops with Mikey shouting. "Month-long Kraang/Shredder Mega Defeat celebration rules!" "So are we gonna stop by April and Ryliee's?" Donnie suddenly asks as his brothers and his crushes sister skid to a stop, "We are 1.3 blocks and six-no, no-Seven meters away from you guys apartment." "Yeah that's not weird or anything, Donnie." Raph comments. Ryliee turns to Donnie, crossing her arms as she looks down at him, "Donnie... we've been over this. What's Rule #1?" "Rule #1?" Leo, Raph, and Mikey look confused.
Donnie straightens up, "No creepy plans or obsessive behavior."
"Right." Ryliee nods, "That goes for knowing the exact number of blocks and meters from anywhere to our apartment. Now, take that information and throw it away."
Donnie makes a motion to his head before tossing something imaginary away, "Done."
"Good." Ryliee smiles, "Now, follow me I want to see my dad and sister."
Donnie takes off as the others follow after him.
"Rule #1? What's that, Mom?" Mikey asks in confusion.
"I'm helping Donnie out a little with his feelings towards April. You've all seen how he gets at times."
"Yeah."
"True."
"Mhm."
"So, I decided to implement a set of rules for him to follow whenever April is involved."
"How many rules do you have?" Leo asks.
"Um.." Ryliee starts trying to remember all the rules as she counts on her fingers.
Raph groans once Ryliee reaches her tenth finger only to count afterwards, making him shocked. The Turtles and Ryliee arrive at her and April's apartment. "Before we knock on this window, what were you gonna say?" Ryliee asks. "Handsome-gram for April O'Neil!" Donnie exclaims. Raph facepalms, "Ugh. Did you really just say that?" "Okay, Rule #2, Donnie." Ryliee crosses her arms. "Be subtle and don't make it obvious." Donnie remembers. "Right." Ryliee smiles, "Now, try again." Donnie taps on the window, "April, it's us!" "There you go." Ryliee pats him on the shoulder. April opens up the window, "Ryliee your back! Guys! Um...great to see you! Yeah, uh, you mind staying on the fire escape? Ryliee dad wants to see you." Ryliee smiles as walks forward giving her sister a hug before seeing her father. "Seems like you've been avoiding us lately, April." Leo notices. April sighs as she leans against the window frame, "Dad's alien abduction nightmares are getting worse. He's so freaked out, he won't let me out at night. Now that Ryliee's back he's going to do the same with her."
Kirby and Ryliee appear from the shadows, "I'm sorry, April. It's just...what if the Kraang are still out there...waiting..lurking? I'll do anything to protect you both." "Dad." April sighs, "Me and Ryliee, we can take care of ourselves now. And-And we'll be with the guys!" she wraps an arm around her sister, "I couldn't be more safe!"
"Don't worry, dad. We got our tasers, and plus April still has her training with me and Splinter." Ryliee reassures her father.
"Trust us, Mr. O'Neil. Shredder and those little squishy brain-freaks are long gone."
Mikey adds.
