Chapter 4: Character Introduction: Tsubasa Nanase

Start from the beginning

Nanase: (Standing on the right of Hosen, her voice cool and collected) Don't worry, Class D. We'll be showing Class 2-D how it's done. Partnering with Hosen is practically a guaranteed win.

Hosen: (Clapping Nanase on the shoulder with a hearty laugh) You said it, Tsubasa! Now, here's the deal. This ain't some charity project. You want a decent partner from Class 2-D, you gotta prove you deserve it. (He scans the room, his gaze locking onto a student) You, with the jittery hands – think you can handle the pressure?

Nervous Student: (Squeaks out a barely audible) Y-yes, Hosen-sama!

Hosen: (A bark of laughter erupts from him) Good answer! Now, the rest of you, let's see some fire! We ain't here for tea parties and friendship bracelets. We're gonna show those Class 2-D snobs what real teamwork means, Class D style!

Hosen and Nanase stand side-by-side, an intimidating duo. The students of Class D, spurred by fear and a twisted sense of camaraderie

It looked like they were going to stop, but I have a little question I would like to ask Hosen.

with a smirk I raised my hand without a hint of nervousness or fear

Hosen: (Eyes narrowing) What's that, pipsqueak? Think you got something witty to say?

"I was also thinking to go to class-2D, so if you don't mind could just, hmm I don't know shut up and sit down?"

Hosen throws his head back and laughs, a harsh, humorless sound that echoes through the classroom. A dangerous glint enters his eyes.

Hosen: (Leaning forward, voice low and menacing) Shut up and sit down, huh? Bold words for a newbie with spit still drying on their chin. You think a little smirk and a cheap shot earns you a trip to Class 2-D? (He slams his fist on the desk, the sound making people jump.) This ain't some playground, kid. You want to strut into Class 2-D territory? You gotta prove you can handle the heat. (He gestures to Nanase, who stands beside him with a smirk mirroring mine, but I could see a bit of her eyes trying to assess the situation right now.) Nanase here can attest to that. So, spill it. What makes you think you're worthy of gracing Class 2-D with your presence? Show me why you deserve a shot, or get back in your seat before you embarrass yourself any further. (The air crackles with tension. Hosen's challenge hangs in the air, daring you to step up or back down.)

Me: Pathetic, I thought you would try to do something a leader would do when his pawns starts trash talking him, perhaps like teaching the pawn some manners by punching or something. truly pathetic.

Surprise flickers across Hosen's face for a fleeting moment before a feral grin splits his features. He throws his head back and lets out a guttural laugh that sends chills down the spines of the other students.

Hosen: (Wiping a tear from his eye) Alright, newbie! You got guts, I'll give you that. You want a fight? You got it! (He cracks his knuckles, a predatory gleam in his eyes.) Just know, once I start swinging, there's no turning back. This ain't some playground scuffle. This is Class D justice. (He lunges towards me, fist aimed for my head.)

Hosen's fist whistles past my ear, the wind ruffling my hair. A surprised grunt escapes his lips as I launch yourself out of your chair with unexpected agility. The other students erupt in a collective gasp, their eyes wide with shock. This wasn't the timid act they were expecting from the background character. A slow smile stretches across Nanase's face, a hint of respect replacing the earlier confusion.

Hosen: (Spinning on his heel, fueled by a mix of surprise and fury. He throws another punch, aiming for my gut this time, with a ferocity that leaves no room for doubt. His movements are swift and powerful, a testament to his brawling experience.)
