The persuasion session with Hosen finally wrapped up. The bell signaling the end of class was a welcome melody. Lessons were a pain, not because of the difficulty – it was fairly easy – but because of the constant memorization. The same information drilled into my head repeatedly felt like mental water torture. By the time the final bell chimed, I craved the sweet release of lunch break.
But not for my hunger of my stomach, but for my crave of excitement I am going to receive in a few moments.
I stood up from my seat and took my way towards the door of my class, which then Hosen stopped me, and started speaking
"hey pipsqueak, don't mess the negotiation up or you would receive hell"
in a rather intimidating tone, but I couldn't care less.
"ok, don't worry about me, if something goes wrong or I don't think class-2D is a proper class, I have a alternative plan"
"Hey pipsqueak don't forget the boss here"
he said that while flinging his arm in the side of my head, not trying to hit me
I didn't flinched at all and just stared at him looking at him in a bit intimidating glare
he flinched a bit
"And don't forget about the word called revolution, gorilla"
he clicked his tongue seemingly annoyed with the situation and went away.
I made my way to the the second floor which consists of the second year, I got many confused looks at me but I couldn't care less about them, I walked until I came close to a door which stated 'Class 2D'
I didn't know how to get attention from the students inside the class so I just slammed my hand towards the door, which hopefully didn't break the door. thank god
With that I got all the attention a person would want, and soon Horikita Suzune walks over to me with with Ayanokouji Kiyotaka by her side, arms crossed and a frown etched on my face
"What's the meaning of that outburst? Disrupting the class during lunch break isn't exactly how we conduct ourselves at ANHS, is it, first year?"
her voice is kept low, but carries a clear edge of authority.
I take a sigh, and ask "who's the leader here?"
Sighs, pinching the bridge of my nose
"Look, freshman, Class D isn't about barking orders. We function as a team. We each have strengths, and we work together to achieve our goals.
If you came in here expecting some kind of hierarchy with one person calling all the shots, you're barking up the wrong tree. Now, spill it. Why the outburst? What were you hoping to accomplish?"
What is with this girl, I heard of love in first sight, but hatred in first side is kind of stupid.
"Soo who's the representative of the class?"
"As I explained before, Class D doesn't have a typical class representative system like some of the other classes. We operate a bit differently.
Technically, there's no official student elected to that role. However, for matters related to the school administration or inter-class communication, I, Horikita Suzune, typically handle those responsibilities.
So, while there isn't a single "leader" in the traditional sense, you can consider me the key figure in Class D.
Now, enough about structure. You caused quite a scene. Let's get back to why you barged in like that. What's on your mind, freshman?"
