(The student jumps, startled, his daydream forgotten.)
Hosen: (Smirks) Now, listen close. Class D's reputation precedes us. We're the wild cards, the unpredictable ones. We don't play by the school's fancy rules. We make our own damn rules.
A flicker of interest sparks in some eyes, while others remain wary
"Now, I don't need yes-men or followers. I need fighters. (He leans forward, voice dropping to a low growl) This school's a game, and we're gonna play it hard. We're gonna climb out of this D-class pit, understand?"
A tense silence hangs in the air. This isn't just about leadership; it's about a challenge. he is offering them a chance to rise above their station, but on his terms
"So, who's with me? Who's tired of being the school's punching bag? Who wants to shake things up a bit?"
Hosen pause, letting his words sink in. This is their choice. Will they submit to hosen's reign or challenge it? The future of Class D hangs in the balance, waiting for their answer.
A tense silence follows Hosen's challenge. The air crackles with a mix of fear and defiance. Then, a lone figure rises from the back of the class. He's not the biggest guy, but his voice is steady as he speaks.
Hirai Yuki: "Hold on a minute, Hosen. Maybe before we jump into some... unconventional leadership methods, shouldn't we consider a vote? See who the majority wants leading Class D?"
A murmur of agreement ripples through the class. Some nod along, their eyes flickering between Hosen and the random student 1.
Hosen scoffs, but a glint of respect sparks in his eyes. This kid has guts, challenging him in front of the entire class.
Hosen: "(Smirking) A vote, huh? Sounds kinda... soft for Class D, doesn't it? We ain't exactly known for following the rules."
Hirai Yuki stands his ground, returning your gaze with a quiet determination.
Hirai Yuki: "Maybe not, but at least it's fair. Everyone gets a say."
The class erupts in a flurry of whispered discussions. Some side with Hirai Yuki, while others seem swayed by your charismatic intensity.
Hosen weighs his options. A power grab might be the most Hosen-like way to take control, but earning their respect through a (somewhat rigged) victory might be more sustainable in the long run.
Hosen raises a hand, silencing the chatter
Hosen: "Alright, hotshot. You got guts. Let's have this vote. (A slow grin spreads across his face.) But just so we're clear, losing doesn't mean you get to just waltz out of this. Class D sticks together, remember?"
Hirai Yuki swallows hard, but nods in agreement. A nervous energy fills the room as the voting process begins. the random student 1 wins the vote, becoming the (unofficial) leader of Class D.
Later that day, after school
I was walking towards the dorms but saw Hosen waiting suspiciously so I spied on him, and found out that that he then went to the leader which was appointed today, I think I know where this is going.
Hosen: (Voice low and menacing) "So, "leader," how's it feel ruling the bottom of the barrel?"
Hirai Yuki tries to project confidence, but his voice betrays him.
Hirai Yuki: "It's... not bad. We're... starting to get organized."
Hosen: (Steps closer, towering over the student) "Organized, huh? Sounds like you forgot a lesson, newbie. Class D doesn't play by the rules. We take what we want. And this class? It wants Hosen as its leader."
Fear clouds Hirai Yuki eyes. Hosen delivers a swift blow, a clear message of your dominance. The student crumples to the ground, clutching his stomach.
Hosen: (Voice dripping with venom) "Listen good. You may have won the vote, but Class D respects strength, not some rigged election. You gonna write a little note about your "mistake," aren't you?"
Hirai Yuki can barely speak, but nods weakly. Hosen hand him a piece of paper and a pen, a dark smile playing on his lips.
Hosen: (Clapping him roughly on the shoulder) "Good boy. Now get lost before I change my mind."
Hirai Yuki scrambles to his feet and scurries away, clutching the paper and his bruised ego. I watch him go, a victor in this silent power struggle. Later, the note "Hosen for Leader!" finds its way around the class, signed by the "former" leader. Fear and a twisted sense of respect mix in the air. Hosen, through a brutal display of dominance, has cemented his position as the leader of Class D.
*Flashback ends*
The classroom erupts in a flurry of whispered conversations. The dynamic between me and Hosen has shifted the power balance in Class D. Whether it's for better or worse, only time will tell. But one thing is certain – I made a name for yourself on my very second day. As I watch Hosen and Nanase disappear down the hallway, a small smile tugs at the corner of your lips.
The game has just begun.
