20.] Worth
Thinking he actually means something to someone has always been taboo to Jeremy.
Now, as he's lying on Mike's chest, he realizes that he does matter to someone; and it's the best feeling in the world.

21.] Rhyme
"Nothing rhymes with Jeremy..." The blonde pouts slightly, his forehead colliding with Mike's chest.

"Really?" Mike raises an eyebrow, ruffling his partner's hair affectionately. "I can think of at least one thing."

"What's that?"

"Marry me."

22.] Light
Mike swears that Jeremy's smile would light up the pizzeria, if only he'd be willing to show it.

23.] Rude
Jeremy giggles and places a sweet kiss on Mike's lips, whining faintly and pulling away when Mike refuses to kiss back.

"You're mean..."

24.] Trace
Mike smiles down at Jeremy's sleeping figure, his fingetips lightly tracing abstract designs and patterns along the bare skin of his back and shoulders. Soon enough these patterns form words, which Mike finds himself idly tracing over and over.

I love you...

After a few repetitions of this, Mike lies down to sleep as well. Just as he's dozing off he feels a familiar warmth snuggle into his side, accompanied by a sleepy-sounding whisper.

"I love you too..."

"Sleep okay?" Mike yawns and looks at the blonde still curled up next to him.

"Y-yeah..." Jeremy nods and gives him a small smile. "You?"

Mike is quiet for a moment before he shakes his head. "Don't lie to me, Jeremy."

"I'm not lying!" He protests and looks at his hands, earning an exasperated sigh from Mike.

"Jeremy..." He places a hand under the younger male's chin and forces him to meet his gaze. "Did you sleep at all?"

Jeremy pulls away from the contact and averts his eyes, staying quiet for a moment before shaking his head no.

26.] Cast
"It doesn't hurt..." Jeremy blinks as Mike eyes the cast on his wrist.

"Maybe it doesn't hurt you, but I bet it would hurt someone else if you hit them with it."

"Mike!"

27.] Jealousy
Although Mike pauses in his conversation to place a quick kiss on his cheek, Jeremy can't quite shake the feeling of being left out.

28.] Coffee
"I don't understand how you can stand drinking that stuff..."

Mike raises an eyebrow and takes another sip from the mug in his hand. "What, this?"

Jeremy wrinkles his nose and nods. "It's disgusting..."

"Well, would you rather me not drink it and be a huge grump all day?"

"Fair enough."
