Jeremike one shots (discontinued)

29.] Alone
Jeremy stares blindly at the ceiling, still wearing the dress clothes he'd worn earlier that day. Even after seeing the coffin, he could barely process what had happened.

He blinks away a few tears as he realizes that his only light has finally gone out.

30.] Confess
"You love me...?" Jeremy blinks sleepily in confusion. Maybe confessing this as Jeremy was nodding off wasn't the best idea.

Mike nods once in confirmation, suddenly too afraid to look at the blonde lying in the bed next to where he sat.

Jeremy is quiet for a while, pondering on the statement before he answers.

Mike feels a small hand prodding at his, the fingers curling around his own. He looks back up to Jeremy, who gives him an innocent and sleepy-eyed stare.

"I love you too."

31.] Wreck
"I'm not good enough," Jeremy chokes out.

"You're perfect," Mike whispers, placing hand on the back of Jeremy's head and pulling him close. He can feel Jeremy shaking with exhaustion.

"I'm not," The blonde shakes his head weakly, his eyes desperately wanting to close.

"Just sleep," Mike whispers, his lips pressed to Jeremy's forehead. "Calm down and sleep."

"I'm sorry..." Jeremy coughs a little, his eyes falling shut. "I'm a wreck..." he slumps into Mike's chest, still shaking fitfully.

Mike sighs and tucks the covers securely around Jeremy. "Don't be."

32.] Before
Mike eyes the new guard with a heavy sigh, looking him up and down.

'Uniform's too big, hair is a mess, tag on crooked...' Mike groans inwardly. 'This kid is way too young to be working here.'

The boy fidgets nervously with his hands, quietly watching Mike as he shows him how to check the lights on each camera, and more importantly, how to keep the music box playing.

The young guard brushes his hair from his face, allowing Mike to get a better glimpse of it as he hands the tablet over.

He has olive colored skin with a splash of freckles across his cheeks, but what catches Mike's attention are his eyes.

The guard tilts his head slightly, giving Mike a concerned, blue-eyed stare.

"A-are you alright...?"

33.] After
Jeremy climbs out of the car, falling into step with Mike and reaching for his hand.

The two pass by the animatronics, Jeremy smiling faintly as Mike directs a few curses in their direction. "You know they can't hear you, right?"

"I know," Mike says with a small smile himself. "But that won't stop me." He ruffles Jeremy's hair affectionately, pulling open the desk drawer and handing the tablet to Jeremy.

The blonde pouts and flops down in one of the two chairs, idly spinning himself in circles and grumbling incoherently about the animatronics. Mike rolls his eyes and sits next to him. "No use complaining, Jere. Another day-"

Jeremy groans and stops spinning, finishing Mike's sentence for him. "Another dollar..."

34.] T-shirt
Mike rolls his eyes a little at Jeremy, flopping down on the bed by him. "That's my shirt..."

"Correction," Jeremy murmurs, burying his face in Mike's chest. "This was your shirt."

35.] Shy
Jeremy would much rather stay hidden behind Mike and listen to him talk then talk himself. He can't figure out why this is so hard for Mike to comprehend.

36.] Pride
Mike wishes Jeremy weren't so shy. He's proud to call Jeremy his, but it's rather hard to show him off when he's hidden behind Mike most of the time.

37.] Giant
Despite the mask fitting snugly over his face, Jeremy still shrinks in fear at the animatronic bear towering over him.

38.] Naps
Jeremy really does enjoy watching movies with Mike, but he can never stay awake very long. Mike's chest happens to make a very good pillow.

39.] Cocoa
Jeremy doesn't bother making two mugs of hot chocolate. He knows Mike would rather just have the marshmallows.

40.] Glasses
"I look stupid..." Jeremy whines a bit, his cheeks dusted a light pink.

"You look cute..." Mike smirks a little. "Nerd."
