Ada is 20 years old and a very beautiful lady.
She losses her dad in the hands of some gang.
Sad and having no parents and any other family member in the US.
She sets out to New York to further her studies.
There she meets Santiago who falls in...
Ada had to work for 10 hours yesterday. That's the duration of her shift from Monday to Saturday. Upon arriving home, a list of chores awaited her. Mrs. Claudia did not care about her new job; all she cared about was that Ada completed her house chores. It's as if she couldn't care less. Goodness, that witch seems determined to make my life miserable. My body is throbbing with pain.
"All right, who can tell us what matter is?" Professor Andrew interjects, snapping Ada out of her thoughts. It seems he is our chemistry lecturer.
From 10:30am to 12:00pm, we have Probability and Statistics. We then have a lunch break from 12:00pm to 1:00pm. Logic Theory follows from 1:00pm to 2:30pm, and finally, Discrete Structures from 2:30pm to 3:30pm.
After attending her morning classes, she makes her way to the bustling school cafeteria for lunch. The place is packed with students. Luckily, Ada spots an unoccupied table with four vacant chairs. Approaching the table, she takes a seat. She settles in, closing her eyes with headphones on as always. After a while, Ada rise from my seat to go and get some food.
She decides to treat herself to a large pizza accompanied by a large Coca-Cola. On her way back to the table, she notice three girls seated in the chairs around it.
"What the...?" She mutters under her breath. She quickly heads towards her chair, grabs her things, and prepare to leave. However, one of the girls grabs her hand, preventing her departure.
"Hi!" she exclaims loudly, flashing me a sweet smile. Ada returns the smile. "Why don't you join us?" she suggests. The other girl agrees, "Yeah!"
"Please, join us," the third girl pleads.
"Okay," Ada agrees, deciding to join them. I eat in silence, feeling their curious gazes fixed upon me.
"This is kind of creepy," I think to myself. Unable to contain my curiosity any longer, Ada speaks up, "So, are you guys planning to eat too or just stare at me eating?"
They burst into laughter, causing the attention of others around them. The girl who seems to be their leader, and undeniably beautiful, asks, "By the way, what music are you currently listening to?"
I can't deny it; she's a beautiful girl with an enchanting smile. She has fair skin, a slender figure, dark, flowing hair, and bright, captivating blue eyes.
"I'm listening to 'Mirrors' by Justin Timberlake," she reply.
"Justin Timberlake?!" they exclaim loudly, drawing glares from the surrounding people. "What's wrong with these girls?" Ada wonders to herself.
Oh my goodness, Justin Timberlake is absolutely attractive and a phenomenal musician. I listen to his music all the time. Do you like him too?" the other girl, who is clearly of Indian descent, asks me. She has a beautiful dark complexion, with long, sleek black hair.
"Yes, I don't know about his looks, but his music is definitely something I enjoy a lot," Ada responds.
"It seems like we all have something in common," their leader remarks. The third girl nods, taking a bite of Ada's pizza.
I find it intriguing. She is African-American, with a light complexion and stunning hazel eyes. She is undeniably beautiful, and I admire her fashionable attire.
"Where are you from?" their leader asks Ada.
"I'm from Nigeria,"she replys. "And you?" She inquire.
"I'm from Spain," she says, introducing herself as Isabella Rodriguez. "And what's your name?"
"Mine is Achebe Cassandra Adaeze, but you can just call me Ada," ada smiles, thanking her for the compliment on her name.
"I'm Kalyani Krishna, and I'm from South India. I came here to study. It's nice to meet you," the dark-skinned girl reaches out her hand for a handshake. Ada gladly shakes her hand, returning the smile. "Well, my name is Jasmine Williams. I'm from California, studying medicine," Jasmine introduces herself. "What are you studying?" she asks Ada.
"I'm studying computer engineering," Ada responds.
"And I'm studying business. I have to join my family's business," Isabella explains.
"Muy molesto," she mutters in what I assume is Spanish. (So annoying)
After getting acquainted with each other during lunch, we part ways to attend our remaining lectures for the day. As agreed during lunch, we meet outside the school building after our classes.
I know it's not the wisest decision, and perhaps even foolish, to follow three girls whom I've just met to wherever they are going. But I couldn't resist their request, especially coming from Isabella. She has quite the persuasive skills. Before I know it, I find myself in a luxurious car, accompanied by these three intriguing, yet incredibly kind girls, heading towards an enormous, expensive-looking house.
"Damn," Ada exclaims. "Who owns this house?"
"It belongs to my brother," Isabella reveals.
"It's not a big deal, but my family happens to be billionaires. My brother manages all 30 of our companies, which is why he's always busy. I live with him because I'm afraid of living alone. Otherwise, I would be residing in my own mansion," she explains casually.
"Why does he run all those companies by himself?" Ada inquires.
"Because our parents passed away in a plane crash. Only our grandparents are still alive. We have uncles, aunties, cousins, and so on who help my brother manage the companies, but he is the boss, so all the responsibility falls on his shoulders. It's definitely no easy task," Isabella reveals.
