The Way Of The Heart

Mila pov

"Where are your sisters?" Sully asks his youngest and now only son.

"Your sisters. Where are they?" He says louder and sternly.

"I don't know." Lo'ak says softly still in shock.

"Where are they?!" He shots.

"They're on the ship. They're tied up on the ship." The Metkayina girl says.

"They're... They're at the moon pool. At- At the well deck. Midships." Spider says standing up.

"What?" Sully says confused. I feel lightheaded.

"Come on I'll show you." Spider says pulling Sully up. I'm not quite sure what's happening now but... I kinda want a nap right now. It's getting dark. I think Mrs Sully flew away.

"Stay with him." Lo'ak says to the girl a hand on her cheek.

Then this thought occurs to me. I always heal within 24 hours of getting hurt if the wound is clear. Something deep inside was telling me something...so I listened. I placed my hand on Neteyam's chest and my other hand on his back where the bullet came out. I pushed against him with my hands and closed my eyes concentrating.

"What are you doing?" The Na'vi girl said to me. I ignored her and continued pressuring his wounds. I concentrated on some feeling deep inside me. I want to save him. I feel a tingling sensation all through my body before it builds up in my hands...then it releases. I feel the tingling feeling flow out of me through my hands. A few seconds later I feel his chest start rising. I open my eyes being met with bright glowing golden eyes. Then my vision goes black.

I wake up in the middle of the forest. Which is weird. I glance around to make sure I'm actually in the forest. I am. I stand up seeing that I'm dressed in Na'vi clothing. It looks like a combination of both Omatikaya and Metkayina.

"Hello Mila." A gentle female voice says in Na'vi from behind me. I turn quickly but see no one.

"Who's there?" I ask the forest. Not getting an answer I walk forward.

"Hello?" I say to the trees. I'm starting to freak out.

"All my children live within me, but your time has not come yet young one." The voice says, and again it sounds from behind me. I turn but there isn't anyone there.

"You are a gift to my children. Use your power to help them. Go!" The voice says softly as I start feeling sleepy. I lay down on the ground and just as I close my eyes I see a white Na'vi with purple eyes smile at me.

I keep having these dreams of two Na'vi. I don't know them. At least I don't think so. I feel like I've been asleep for so long I can't remember what is real and what are dreams.

Sometimes I feel something on my hands but there's never anything there. Am I dreaming? Or am I dead? Who was that white Na'vi?

I see flashes of... I think they're memories, but they aren't mine. I see a human woman with dark hair and brown eyes. She looks familiar. I just want to wake up.

Spider pov.

Mila's been asleep for three months. Tsahik Ronal said she lost a lot of blood from her wounds that's why she's still asleep. She's supposed healed by now but she isn't waking up. I'm staying with the Sully's while I wait for my sister to wake up.

Everyday I go out on the water in the morning and the Sully kids show me the way of the Metkayina. After that at lunchtime I go and see my sister at the healers tent. Sometimes she moves a little but never very much. I'm really worried.
