Delaney was able to make it to the bathroom when Amerie did, but Amerie closed the stall as she walked in

"Am" she said knocking on the stall, "Can i come in?"

"Are you gonna yell at me about the map?" Amerie questioned

"Nah, i dont really care about the map" Delaney shrugged, smiling when Amerie opened the door

"But i do have a question " Delaney said, Amerie moved her bag off her lap as Delany sat across her lap leaning on the stall

"Mhm"

"How'd you know? Ant, Spider and I all swore to not tell anyone until we figured out what that was and what we were doing" Delaney asked as Amerie sighed grabbing a bag of chips from her bag

"I dont know, the night of the festival after Harper and I got drinks, i noticed Spider and Ant and then i noticed they were staring at you. And by the look in their eyes, they just- just looked so fucking in love, you know? And i think was more upset that I've never seen you around and you had their attention, and I've never had anyone look at me the way they were looking at you" Amerie explained eating some chips

"In love?" Delaney laughed

"I'm serious! They weren't looking at you like some random girl, or a one night stand, they had their look in their eyes, like they were memorized by you or something. I mean, you're freaking gorgeous, Laney, everyone looks at you, but they had the look. The "im so in love and will murder someone if they look at you", type look" Amerie said offering Delaney a chip

"Ah, the toilet lunch. I feel you" someone said, the two stopped chewing and looked at each other

Delaney looked up once she was neon green nails and then Quinni popping over the stalls

"Hey, i could've been taking a shit!" Amerie said once she noticed Quinni staring at them

"Well, you shouldn't eat and poo it'll mess with your digestive tract. Plus, who poos with someone on their lap? But I'm glad we've had this chance to talk" Quinni smiled

"Yeah, um, maybe not" Amerie said wide eyed, Delaney laughed getting off her lap

"I know how you feel" Quinni said softly

"i seriously doubt it" Amerie replied, mouth full of chips

"No. Listen, i do, because when i was in Grade 6, I found a giant gumnut. And i was like, "Oh, my God. Giant gumnut!" I was so excited, showed everybody because it was the best gumnut I'd ever seen. Turns out it wasn't a gumnut. It was just a piece of solidified dog shit. And i got called Giant Gumnut for the rest of the year. So I'm kind of guessing that's how you feel right about now"

"Sorry, but can you leave us alone?" Amerie shook her head, going back to eating her chips

"Is this your 13th reason?" Quinni questioned as Delaney laughed, "What?" Amerie asked confused

"Like, are you gonna unalive yourself?"

"No" Amerie shook her head, Quinni let out a breath in relief, "Ok" she nodded as it got quiet

"Seriously, what do you want?" Amerie asked hitting the stall wall

"I just need someone to look at my vagina for me" Qunni said quickly, Delaney's eyes widened

"Oh. No. Nah. No. Nope" Amerie said opened the stall door, grabbing Delaney's hand and leaving the bathroom

"I mean, it is kind of your fault in a way, so if you could just look at it and tell me f i have a normal kebab or not. Amerie! Delaney!" Quinni yelled following the two, Delaney laughing as Amerie dragged her away

Delaney was dressed in a pink coreset like top, a white lace skirt, white ledges and a  letterman jacket, she was sitting at Harry's diner waiting until it got dark to head to the cemetery

She waited until Amerie's mom had walked away to go over to her, "That's a shit fringe, Ams" she said sitting down and stealing some fry's

Darren walked over to leave the kitchen but paused once they saw Amerie and Delaney, "Oh, look at the bangs on you, Map Bitch" they chuckled

"Not the bayang, the bayang, the bayang. Woah, woah, woah." they sang getting their phone out and taking a picture

"Excuse me. Can i order?" a customer asked looking at Darren

"Oh, God, this is just too pathetic" they whispered, "Yeah, someone's going to be right with you" they added leaving the kitchen, walking over to Delaney and Amerie

"Sup, Dora?" Darren spoke up sitting next to Delaney and stealing some fry's

"Do you want me to fix that for you?" they questioned as she looked up

"Please"

Delaney stood on the cart Quinni was in, Quinni had a cup of gummies, handing one to Delaney now and then, across from them was Amerie laying in another cart, Darren behind her fixing her hair

"It's bad, isn't it? like irreversible bad?" Amerie asked, she was using a car mirror to look at her hair

"Nah, i shaved off both my eyebrows in year 8 and they grew back" Darren said passing Amerie her scissors, "Yeah, way less shit"

"More like heaps less shit, thanks"

"Why did Harper punch you in the face?" Quinni questioned passing Delaney a gummy

"I dont really know"

"Well, you must have done something" Darren said rolling their eyes playfully

"We went to a music festival last week. And after that, she just went ghost"

"You two get into a fight?" Delaney questioned as Amerie nodded

"Yeah, but i cant remember what is was about. We always fight"

"When's Harper's birthday?" Darren asked as Quinni passed them the cup of gummys

"Uh-huh. Scorpio. Unsubscribe"

"What's your guys" Quinni asked looking between the two

"Im a Virgo"

"Taurus" Delaney spoke up

"Mm! I'm an Aquarius. Quinni's a Libra"

"Oh, are we compatible?" Amerie asked smiling

"Not all queer people are astrology experts" Darren said looking at Amerie, who's smile dropped

"Oh. Sorry"

"I'm kidding, we are. I'm going to need your time of birth because if you are a Leo Moon, I'm not messing with you. And as an Aquarius i love some Taurus, only cause we both have strong personalities and might not be able to understand each other or connect on a deep level, but I've declared i already love you"  Darren smiled looking at Delaney
