MAX SHOT UP IN HER BED IN A SWEAT. Willow, who had barely slept and already been awake, looked over at her from the bedroom floor with a worried look.
"More nightmares?" she asked the panting girl. Max just nodded in reply with a gulp, throwing her blanket to the side and strolling into the kitchen. Willow followed her, stretching as she walked.
Scott hadn't come home last night. He was probably passed out somewhere at Benny's. Willow was glad though, she didn't feel like seeing him today.
She saw Max swallow something out of a packet and rinse it down with some tap water. Probably for her headaches she had recently been having.
Their attention turned to the police sirens blaring outside, stopping at the trailer right opposite Max' one. They looked to eachother, walking towards the front door. Susan Mayfield followed behind them, corssing her arms.

Willow sort of knew Eddie Munson. She had never talked to him before, but she knew Dustin and Mike hung out with them as they all played D&D.
The two younger girls started walking towards the trailer, their barefeet touching the damp grass. Max tilted her body sideways, trying to see inside.
"Hey!" The two girls gasped. They spun around, meeting the face of an angry police officer. "You can't be out here. Get back inside." The girls looked back at the trailer. "Back inside," he repeated.
"Did you see anything?" Willow quietly asked Max as they walked back to Max' trailer.
Max just let out a long sigh, looking up sadly into her friends round eyes.

"...Occured here is sure to touch a nerve across the community of Hawkins, which is still reeling from last year's devastating mall fire," the TV reporters voice blared through the room. "Over thirty innocent-." The TV went static. Andy frustratedly walked over, banging the large thing.
"...is newly appointed police chief, Calvin Powell, who served as a deputy under Chief Hopper."
"What's this?" Jason asked them with a mouth full of cereal. "I thought we were watching ThunderCats." Scott walked over beside Jason now with a stretch.
