A Careless Soul // ghost x reader

"Hurry up. Price wants to see us in his office. " Ghost said. "Got it." I said, I walked out of our room at went to the bathroom for a moment.

I went to the bathroom and I took my mask off and put my other mask down. My face had red marks since I had been laying on my mask while I was asleep .. I turned the sink on and washed my face.. I had scars on my lip and other parts of my face from past battles. They were all healed though..  as I turned the facet off I look back at the mirror as I heard the bathroom door open, I turn to see Gaz. "Y/N?!" He shouted. I quickly turn my back on him and put my mask back onto my nose and my kitsune mask on.

He put his hands on his eyes.. "I'm so sorry!!!" He said. "It's fine.. you didn't see much right?" I asked, "no.. I kinda saw everything. Your scars are so cool!!!" Gaz exclaimed. "Shh.. just don't tell anyone alright?" I say. He nodded with a grin on his face. I sighed. "Let's just go.." I said quietly.

As we finally got to prices office price looked annoyed at ghost as me and Gaz saw them
talking.

"You're supposed to be with her 24/7 ghost! You should've told her to walk with you. She could've gotten information and escaped!!"price said.

"Understood sir." Ghost said, Me and Gaz walked into the room as soap walked behind us. Gaz had gotten startled since soap appeared out of nowhere.

"Sorry man." Soap said while laughing. Price and Ghost turned to us.

"Where have you two been?" Price asked. Ghost gave a glare to Gaz. His dumb grin wiped off immediately.

"We bumped into eachother near the bathrooms." Gaz said with a faint smile as he put his hand on the back of his head.

"And you two walked here together?" Price asked. "Mhm." I responded.

Price facepalmed "Alright let's just cut to the chase, Red spades is picking a fight with our team. They captured two new recruits. Jason and Todd. We need to retrieve them immediately, we don't know how strong the mafia is and I don't think those two would like to stay long with them." He said with a stern and demanding tone.

"The people who will be going on this mission is Gaz, Ghost and , Y/N." Price said.

"Why not me cap?" Soap asked.

"Because you'll be the getaway driver soap. I told you you're gonna have to work on this sooner or later." Price said

"Oh got it.." soap said chuckling. "Alright are we all ready?" Price asked. "Yeah." Gaz , Ghost and me said.. 

"Sadly enough, this will be at another party.. So you will have to be in disguises. Gaz, You will go under the same name." He continues to say. "but Ghost.. your disguise name will be Ace. Y/N your name will be Artemis. You two will have different outfits." price said

As price continued to explain he eventually dismissed all of us telling us to train in the training room for close combat. After 2 days he called us back into his office again.

"Hello you three, today is the day for the mission. Your outfits have arrive just on time" Price said as he reached into the closet in the office and brought out 3 outfits.. Price stood up and gave all 3 of us outfits as soap walked out of the office.

"Alright, here you are, we still have 4 hours till the mission but make sure to change so you won't have to later." He said giving all of us our outfits.  "Also you won't be wearing your masks. You'll be wearing a half-mask. A mask that only covers half of your face for those who are slow." Price said looking at Gaz.

"Hey!" Gaz said

"Y/N, it looks like you already have one under the mask you're wearing so feel free to wear that one. " Price said. Price walked up to both Ghost and Gaz and gave them plain black masks. "Dismissed." Price said.

As I walked out Gaz walked next to me. "I'm actually pretty interested in how we'll all look!! " Gaz said. I nodded as ghost began to walk with us aswell. "Let me know if you need assistance with your dress Y/N." Ghost said making eye contact. I quickly looked away. "Okay." I replied. I hear him chuckle for the first time due to my reaction and my heart flutters. I quickly walk to the my room with ghost to change, while Gaz goes to the bathroom.

As me and ghost walk into the room the nervous feeling still lurks. "Don't look this way okay?" Ghost said. "Same goes to you." I say. As I take off my gear I'm left with my bra and shorts. I turn to quickly grab my dress from my desk from my side. As I go to grab my dress my right arm covers my chest as I turn to look at ghost to see him with his pants on but not his shirt.

I accidentally drop my dress as I see him and he turns to me. "Look away!" I said quickly. "You should've told me when you were done." He said with a stern and deep voice while he placed his hand over his mouth as he looked away.

"You should've too." I said.

"You shouldn't have looked mutt." Ghost said sternly and aggressively. "Your showing emotion again, nervousness and annoyance.." Ghost added.

"Whatever.." as the nervous and annoyed feeling slowly faded away and begin to put on my dress. It was an off the shoulder with long sleeves and a lace in the back to tie it up, somewhat like the dress from last time.. it was short but not too short. I also had the same shoes as last time. 

"I'm done." I said.

"Im done aswell." Ghost said

We both turned around to look at each other once again now with our mission outfits on.
