A Careless Soul // ghost x reader

Ghost saw the truck aswell. His hands gripping tighter on my hips. "Soap stop the fucking car now." I said, my voice showed very little emotion. "No soap don't. It will only cause us attention. " ghost said. "No we can't let them see me." I replied. "Why? Why are you so afraid of them? Are you afraid to see them again?" Ghost said harshly, his voice cold hearted. I stood quiet. That definitely shut me up.

The truck took a U-Turn. Soap tried calming us down. "Everyone stay calm. We have a kid in the car for crying out loud." Soap said. Jason had to think quickly. Jason quickly turned to Gaz. "Soap let Gaz and Todd out of the car now." Jason said urgently.

"What?! Why?!" Soap said unsure.

"There aren't enough guns for all of us. And we cannot risk losing this damn kid." Jason said.

"Even if we do come into combat with them in sure Ace will stay with us." Jason continued to talk.

"We have to do it now or else they'll get suspicious!" Jason said.

Soap was unsure, and he hesitated. "Fine Gaz get out now! Take the child!" Soap yelled.

Jason quickly gave Gaz the child as soap abruptly stopped the car. Gaz and Todd rushed out and began running to a hiding place.

Soap started driving again. As the truck was right behind us.

Soap stood calm and Jason did aswell. Ghost slowly moved me off his lap as he moved over.

This feeling.. i didn't understand it. But i needed to calm down.

Ghost could see this. "Ace.. I understand how you feel. But you need to calm down or else they'll start to get suspicious." He said. His voice becoming calm and reassuring but with a slight harshness.

"Fuck. Fuck fuck..." Jason said as he saw the truck move next to us.

"Why the fuck did price not get us tinted windows!!! We're fucking screwed!?" Jason yelled.

I slightly turned. My heart in my throat. It was Aries and ... Phoenix. Aries didn't look nervous.. for once he looked serious.. and Phoenix.. she was the polar opposite.. what the .. what happened?

Ghost grabbed my chin forcefully "you need to fucking chill okay? If they find out your here we are all screwed!" Ghost said.

Soap eyes widened. "It's too late for that!"soap yelled. He stepped on the gas and drove. He drove to a abandoned field. Soap , Jason and ghost all got out of the car.. I stood for a few more seconds to compose myself.

It was like I had forgotten what all those emotions i felt in the past few months were all.. gone. Soap got suit pants from the truck. "Put these on. Quickly." Soap said giving them to me.

I stayed silent and nodded as the boys went to the truck and got the guns. I changed into the pants and cut the bottom of the dress so that it was just the top that was there.

The truck pulled up.

As the truck began to slow down. They were a little far from us.

The truck cars opened as they got out.

It was Jax,Phoenix and Aries.

Aries and Phoenix eyes widened when they say me. "ACE?!" They yelled out.

I stood by the guys side grabbing a gun from the trunk.

"So what, your on these assholes side now?" Jaxx said.

".." I didn't say anything.

"Nothing to say huh? Wonder what these assholes put into your head. There nothin, nobody's." Jaxx said.

"Hey watch yo damn mouth!" Soap said his Scottish accent picking up as he stepped forward.

"Stand down soap." Ghost said

I stood up a few steps. I saw Phoenix. I saw the hurt look on her eyes.

But it didn't mean nothing. Not a single muscle moved.

"Still the emotionless person I see?" Jaxx said

"At least that's one thing they didn't take away from you." He said

"So ghost.." Jaxx continued to say

Ghost looked up at him, a cold and harsh glare.

"Did you take care of our lone wolf? Anything new she learned?" Jaxx said. With a mocking tone.

"She's shown emotions. " ghost said.

All 3 of them looked surprised .

"Emotions eh?" Jaxx said ..

"Ace.. you finally-.. oh my.." Phoenix said.

"I knew.. you could do it." Aries said nervously.

"Well.. guess our emotionless wolf isn't so emotionless now huh.." Jaxx said.

I took a few steps more. Now in the middle between them.

"Our? She's on our side now." Soap said.

"Tch.. yeah right. She's been with us since day one. " Jaxx said.

"Yeah, she saved me." Jason said.

"Don't mean jack shit! She just did that to gain your trust." Jason said.

"Nah mate'.. she's with us." Soap said.

"Wanna bet?" Jaxx said.

"Bet." Soap said with a glare.

I was standing in the middle.

Why was I being put in the spotlight..

It was between the people I've been with since day one..

Or the new people I've met.. and a possible new beginning.

"Come on Y/N." Jaxx said.

"Blade wants you back. We all do." Jaxx continued to say.

I looked at blackout 301..

I looked at team 141..

I didn't know what to choose.

I took a few steps towards blackout.

"You serious Ace?" Jason said

"..I started to actually trust you." Ghost said.

"Ace..?" Soap said..

I looked back at team 141 and began to walk back to them..

"Ace?! Please?!" Phoenix said.

"Ace..? After everything we've been through..?" Aries said.

"Y/NNN... come back. We know you and they don't." Jaxx said.
