Ophelia yawned.

The ghost princess had dramatically run away, leaving Trey dumbfounded.

"Am I supposed to give chase?" Trey asked Ophelia.

"I would," she answered. "And grab her hand, if you can."

"Alright, well..." He chased after the ghost, managing to catch her hand, "No! Please, wait!"

"Didn't I just say we couldn't see each other? Please, don't spare me a second thought!" Eliza wept.

"Looks like chasing was the right call." He looked at Ophelia, "What should I do next?"

"Sing! Or a poem!" She told him.

"Sing? Right now?!"

"That's right. You need to establish a romantic mood with a touching melody that tickles her fancy," Jade said.

Ophelia laughed quietly, "Jade's got some experience, I see."

"You mean that stupid stuff works?" Floyd asked as he crossed his arms over his chest.

"It's absolute cringe, but it could work for some people," Ophelia answered, snickering at the thought of collected Jade doing something so cheesy.

"I'm not exactly the best singer, but...Here goes," Trey said, embarrassed. "Uhhh...Your...~Your...~"

"Yes? My what?" Eliza pushed.

"Your...veil is...as bright as a freshly-bleached dish towel...And your eyes, they're, um, like grapes..." Trey wasn't even singing. "~You're...so lively!~"

The ghost nearly slapped the glasses off his face, "YOU'RE OUT!"

"Yeah, no surprises there," Trey agreed with an embarrassed smile.

"My veil is like a DISHCLOTH? My eyes are like GRAPES? A prince would never use such utterly unromantic analogies!"

Ophelia was in tears, laughing so hard.

"Your similes were a tad mundane, to be fair. I'm shocked you couldn't even manage, 'Your eyes are like jewels.'" Jade teased.

"Look, I'm just a regular student, and she totally put me on the spot. All I could think of were things I knew!" Trey defended himself.

"Alright, next! You there, with that disinterested look," Eliza said.

Floyd didn't spare the ghost a glance. "I ain't here for you," he told the ghost.

The bride and her retainers were in such shock Floyd managed to get to Ophelia. Now that he was in front of her, he seemed hesitant.

"Floyd, what are you doing?" Jade asked.

Ophelia gazed up at Floyd and suddenly, he was the only one in the room with her. She forgot about the ghost, she forgot about Idia, all she knew was Floyd was there and nothing bad could happen. He gently held her jaw as he leaned down and placed his lips on hers. Time stopped when Floyd kissed her. She hadn't expected it, and she wasn't eager for it to end. She felt her body move, and reality shifted. The serious situation returned, the stunned silence was haunting, and most of all, Floyd looked sad, like he regretted it. "Everyone's at the Mystery Shop," he told her.

She took off, no longer hindered by the antique dress. Something about the situation had been strange. Floyd wasn't coming with her.

"That was so romantic!" She heard the bride sigh.

Ophelia stopped at the doorway of the cafeteria, wondering why Floyd hadn't followed her. He was watching, pen ready if anyone tried to stop her from leaving.
