In a full-body lurch, she teeters.
When she's thinking about him she's ecstatic, euphoric, her gaze thrilled as her skin yearns for his touch.Still, reality has a way of making his words nip at her ribs and wound when it's just lies carving into what they have making her stomach cramp and wondering why she ever said anything at all.
