"Stop apologizing dummy"

"Aye by the way that old man needs to chill out" he said

"Who?"

"Your mom's boyfriend."

My heart dropped "what why? Did he say anything?"

"Nah he's just really protective of you and lowkey threatened me. I guess hes taking his dad role seriously" he laughed while I try to hide my guilt and concern.

"Yeah..." I couldn't look at him in the face

"Is he nice?"

"Yeah he's cool, better than the others"

"He seems cool, he even proposed me to come take a look at his bikes one day"

"What?? Did you say yes?"

"Aye you need to chill out too babe, why you so tensed it's nothing. And of course I said yes have you seen the bikes he has? Shit is badass man"

My heart was beating out of my chest. I couldn't believe james did that. I knew he was mad but not to that extent. And the worst was that I couldn't just tell him not to go or else I'd look more suspicious than I already did. A part of me was scared for Romeo.

"Alright." Is the only thing I could say at that moment

"Anyways, enough talking about your stepdad, did I tell you how good you looked tonight?"

"A few times actually" I giggle

"Well that's not enough"
He began kissing my neck then my lips and caressed my inner thighs before climbing on top of me.

"Babe- not tonight I'm sorry. I'm not really in the mood"

"Oh shit- I'm sorry" He tried to hide his disappointment

"But I'm in the mood to get drunk
You in?'' I say and smile

He nods and smiles in return

As I open the door, the obnoxious noise and warm air hits me in the face. My friends wink at us thinking we just got some action and it made uncomfortable seeing romeo's disappointment.

"Hola mami, como estas?" Valeria whispered in my ear

"quiero emborracharme esta noche"
(I wanna get drunk tonight!)

I yell in her ear and smile while she handed me a red cup of alcohol. I swallow the disgusting liquid and pours more into my cup. I could feel romeos eyes on me, he was concerned. But I didn't care, I was tired of caring.

Tony: "Yo is your Chica good hermano?"

Romeo:"No se que le pasa ultimamente"
(I don't know Whats up with her lately)

Tony: Bueno, será mejor que la mires antes de que me quede a solas con ella.
(Well you better watch her before I get alone with her)

I took a gulp of my drink and as I heard Tony say that I just wanted to puke, that drunk bastard had no idea what he was saying but my heart dropped when I glanced at romeo. His eyes were red with anger like a bull. I knew this party was going to be chaotic.

Romeo: "Qué carajo estás diciendo pendejo? ¿Sabes que estás hablando de mi novia?"
(what the fuck are you saying asshole? do you know thats my girlfriend youre talking about? )

He pushes his torso until he hits the wall behind him and everyone screams

Tony: "yooo chill out hermano" He laughs before vomiting in a plant

Romeo: "borracho hijo de puta" ( you drunk motherfucker)

Tony: "relájate hombre, todos sabemos que ya no le gustas a tu chica" (relax man, we all know your girl doesnt like you anymore)

I meet romeo's gaze who looks at me confused and hurt

Romeo: "is that true lo?"

I couldn't believe what the fuck he was saying. I couldn't believe that after what I told him, about how I just wanted to forget my problems, he just adds more problems on my plate.
I stood up angrily, everything around me was blurry and I was dizzy, but mostly angry.

"You're fucking with me right now? Y-y-you really gonna listen to what that drunk cabron has to say?"

Romeo: "Lo let's talk someone privat-"

"No!" I push his hand off while he tries to pull my hand. Everyone is staring at us but I didn't care.

"Y-you wanted this! You know what? Vete a la mierda!" (Fuck you)

Romeo: "don't talk to me like that and let's go home"

"Or what?" I yank my hand off of him "What are you my dad?"

"Baby you're so drunk right now please let's just g-"

"Oh my god stop! I'm s-so fed up! F-fed up with your bullshit. You just wanna control me. I'm nothing but a doll to you huh?"

Romeo: "can you fucking hear yourself right now what the hell are you talking about?"

"A veces prefiero quedarme solo que estar contigo" (sometimes i would rather stay alone that be with you)

I slip out accidentally and I saw his face shifting from annoyed to hurt. I knew I messed up. Everyone around us was quiet. And I just wanted to get out of here.

Tony: "told you pendejo" he laughs and romeo pins him against the wall and punch him in the nose. Everybody laughs and some try to separate them but i could feel the tears coming up, I wanted to hide, I wanted to go home, and home was one person. One person who I wanted to be with, james.

"Mi amor estas bien?" Valeria follows me and grabs my shoulder

"Déjama en Paz Valeria!"
(Leave me alone Valeria!) I push her hand and run to the nearest exit I could see throughout my blurry vision

"Lo!!" I could hear romeo's distant screams but I just wanted to lose him in the crowd.

After a few seconds, I arrived to the patio outside. With a few efforts, I run my hands and dig through my bag until I could feel something that somewhat resembled my phone while almost tripping. I rub my eyes and dial his number. The line rang a few times until-

"Doll?" His deep Raspy voice awakens me, I couldn't get enough of it and I missed it. His voice sounded so sexy like he just woke up, and it was logical as it was almost morning

"Doll answer me are you okay? Where are you?" I'm coming right now just tell me where you are-" he asks concern

"I-l love you j-james"

"I love you too bella. Have you been drinking?"

"A l-little" I giggle

"Where are you?"

"Come please I miss you- I'm at- a party"

"Doll don't move I'm coming right now"
