"You need to learn this!" Megatron shouted. "How is this a requirement?!" I yelled back, accidentally swaying my movement in the air to flip around. "Fliers need to know how to transform into their alt modes, mid-fall. Saves you a lot of trouble in the long run." He replied. I scowled. "How is falling randomly, plummeting to the ground a good lesson?!" I screeched, punching the air in frustration.
The ground loomed ever closer.
"I swear! This is how I'm gonna die!" I screech, flailing around in a panic. "I'm going to grab you, and drop you as many times as I need to, to get you to learn how to be comfortable with falling." Megatron grumbled. "People don't fly!" I screeched at him. "You're not a human anymore. Get over it." He hissed.
"Whyyyyyyyy!" I whined, "You just had to save me from dying from a bullet wound! Thank you! No thank you! I hate you!" I yell out my frustration, the ground looming ever closer.
"First this shit, then you just had to choose me out of the several femmes you had... then why in the fragging pits did you murder femmes and sparklings randomly during the war? Especially considering you want a sparkmate and heirs so badly!" I shouted, flailing my arms dramatically.
"First, I did not order the strike on them... new life should be treasured... especially with how the war was destroying us all. Secondly, you were the only choice." He snarled, flying dangerously close to me.
I fell quiet. "What if I already had someone, hm? What if I already had a partner?" I shot back. "Impossible. It would take several of your earth years to properly count towards a relationship. I believe the term you are looking for is 'courting partner'." He grumbled.
"Do you know how much it hurts... to realize you'll live longer than everyone you've known... that you would lose everything because of how your lifespan stretches past centuries? Do you know how much it hurts to realize all you've ever known to be a lie? Hell! I sacrificed everything for my sister. I sacrificed my life for pit's sake! Then you take me away from her! Do you want to know how much pain we went through simply because we were born to do something? Fuck you! Our parents were jaeger pilots. You know what that made us? JAEGER PILOTS. And don't spew out how we're similar because of your cursed caste system.
Imagine never being able to grow old, to relish your life, to breathe the air, to feel it pass over your skin in the wind. You'd never be able to smell the seasons as they went by... not exactly the same way as a human would.
I will never be able to enjoy an ice cream cone on a hot summer day... not anymore. I wish you'd have just left me dead. Maybe it would have been better for everyone. Hm?" I cried out, shouting angrily, as I flailed in the air, punching angrily.
"I don't even know why my spark pulls ever so tightly towards what a human would call 'soulmates'... I don't even know why I have such a fragile bond with Koda, that keeps waxing and waning."
I cried out, finally getting myself to shift to my beast mode, catching the wind with my wings, flapping unevenly as I struggled to figure out how to fly like this. "Don't you see? I'm broken, unreliable. Hell, I don't even like you. As far as I'm concerned, I'm not interested in a partner... at least not yet. Even if I was, I would never choose you. You've got to realize you cannot force everyone to your will. It doesn't work like that. Hell, I'd rather die defying you then live under you only for the sole purpose of making heirs." I spat out, venom laced thickly in my tone as I snarled and chirped in a low frequency.
He remained silent as I finally got a hang of wing control, and hovered near him with my tail lashing. Each section of my armor reflecting the rising sun's light as I hovered, fangs bared, armor bristling in anger.
