He spent his whole life chasing after a guy, wanting love, running after it. Desperately grasping at anything the man would give him , until he didn't. He was naive enough to think that guy loved him, so much that he gave everything up. He made many...
The car glides to a halt, and a hush falls over the crowd, anticipation palpable in the air. Camera flashes burst like fireworks as the door swings open, revealing Kim Taehyung, radiant and resplendent.
Taehyung steps out of the sleek, black car, and camera shutters click incessantly, capturing every move. Dressed impeccably in a tailored suit, he exudes confidence, but there's a hint of anticipation in his eyes, a subtle acknowledgment of the scrutiny awaiting him.
With a gracious smile, he acknowledged the swarm of reporters and photographers, his demeanor poised and collected. He moved with practiced ease, gliding through the crowd, exchanging polite nods and brief greetings.
Soon he caught sight of his co-star, Jasmine, across the room, engaged in conversation with a member of the crew. With a warm smile, he made his way over, weaving through the maze of equipment and people.
"Hey there!" he called out, his voice carrying easily over the din of the people.
Jasmine turned around, a grin spreading across her face as she locked eyes with her colleague.
"Hey! So good to see you," she replied, her tone brimming with genuine warmth.
The two embrace in a brief but heartfelt hug that speaks volumes of their camaraderie.
"You are looking beautiful." Taehyung complimented her.
"Thank you. My boyfriend said that I look exquisite. The dress is his choice." Jasmine chuckled.
Taehyung looked around and asked, "Is he here?"
"No, but he said he would be watching." Jasmine explained as she took a sip of her coffee.
"Let's go, guys." The director called them out. As they walked to the stage, reporters and fans were excited and asked them for a photo.
Taehyung pretended to put his hand on Jasmine's back as they posed and smiled. After reaching the stage, he pulled Jasmine's chair for her, earning a smile from her. This simple interaction between them made their fans thrilled with happiness. Apparently, some fans were shipping the two.
The press conference began, and fortunately, it went smoothly without any disturbance, and soon the trailer for their movie was premiered.
The trailer premiere turned out to be a success, as it was trending all over the internet along with excerpts from press conferences. Within a few minutes, the trailer reached a million views, definitely a feat for any movie.
Taehyung was enjoying the afterparty when Jimin suddenly rushed towards him, startling him in the process.
"Mi Kwan and Yuchen announced their wedding date just now. They are trending right behind the trailer. Soon, they will overtake it. Those two are crazy." Jimin spoke as he showed Taehyung the real-time trends.
Taehyung looked at the article, and he knew that Mi Kwan and Yuchen had released the news so the public attention would be theirs.
"They wanted attention and, most importantly, wanted to get rid of the hype of our movie." He sighed.
"I know, right. You are under his agency, and this is how he treats you. I swear, I'll punch him when we are no longer in his shitty-ass company." Jimin was seething.
"Your CEO is really something. Fighting for attention against his own artist." Jasmin said as she was sitting beside them.
"Yeah! That fucker also stopped Taehyung from doing some work and auditions." Jimin fumed. He really wanted to smack the shite out of that snot-faced fucker.
"That is pure mistreatment. Why don't you transfer to my company?" Jasmine seriously looked at him.
"Thank you for your offer. But right now, I want to stay there. Don't worry, I'll keep your offer in mind." Taehyung looked at her in the eyes before answering.
"President Sir." Jeongguk was having a break after his meetings when Soobin knocked and came into his office.
"Any news?" Jeongguk's brow lifted up.
"The press conference by Mr. Kim was a success. They are in headlines too." Soobin nodded as he informed his president, sir.
Jeongguk nodded with a smile plastered on his face as he leaned on his swivel chair. His eyes softened when they fell on the ring in his left hand. He then glanced at Soobin, who was acting a little weird. He knew it was something that could worsen his mood.
"What else?"
"CEO Mi Kwan and Yuchen released their wedding date, and it has climbed to the top spot." Soobin gulped. He felt the room becoming colder as his president's eyes darkened.
"Call all the news sites, tell them that Taehyung's movie teaser should be in the top headlines if not, and tell them to get ready to shut down." Jeongguk's voice sounded very cold, and it was full of threat.
Soobin nodded and left the room to do what was instructed. He didn't even blink before contacting the news sites.
Jeongguk picked up his phone from the table and immediately checked the entertainment headlines. He is not interested in the entertainment industry, even if his aunt owns the biggest entertainment company in South Korea. The only time he checked entertainment news was when it was related to Taehyung, which wasn't that much, as Mi Kwan didn't let him work most of the time.
As he opened the page, he saw Taehyung's movie trailer in the top spot. As he read some of the articles, his lips curled up. While he was scrolling through articles, one article caught his eye. He opened the article and regretted it afterwards as he saw Taehyung in a picture with his co-star. They are standing close to each other, big smiles adorning their faces.
He stood up from his seat and walked to the meeting room. The employees knew there was something different about their boss. His aura was colder; he definitely was not in a good mood, and they just couldn't help but pray that they would survive this meeting.
The staff was praying that their boss would end the meeting soon. They were too scared to even cough. Their boss was in a good mood earlier, but after the break, he suddenly had a bad mood. As the presenter continued his presentation nervously, a message notification echoed in the quiet room.
Everyone checked their phones, but to their surprise, their boss picked up his phone from the table as he asked the presenter to stop. They were glancing at each other as they curiously watched their boss type on his phone. Another event that should be in their company's book of records.
As they waited for him, they cautiously glanced around, and to their surprise, another smile appeared on their boss's face. They felt fortunate, having seen their boss's smile not just once but twice in the span of one year.

When Jeongguk put down his phone, he asked them to continue, and they couldn't help but express their gratitude to Kim Taehyung for messaging their usually cold boss. As a result, the next few meetings were easier and calmer, with their boss back in a good mood.
