Unicorn Academy - Honorary Siblings

Rory sat in his room and looked at the blank sheet of paper, slamming his head on the desk as nothing comes to his mind of what he wants. Looking around for any inspiration, Rory tries to think if there's any video games he wants to play. But having spent the last few months at a boarding school closed off from the rest of the world, Rory wasn't exactly exposed to any new and trending products. About to give up and take a break, Rory gets up from his desk and reaches for his controller, but it interrupted when hears his phone ring once more. Thinking it was his parents accidentally calling him a second time, Rory lets the phone ring and gets on with his game. After the third and fourth rings, Rory grumbles and grabs his phone, ready to go on a rant about how he's busy playing video games and thinking about what he wants. But after seeing Talulah's name and profile come up on the screen instead of his mom or dad, Rory immediately answers the phone. Talulah, as excited as she was to learn about normal teenager things, wasn't that interested in keeping her phone on her, unlike most teenagers. Maybe it was because they go to a riding school, but Talulah was always busy with something else to use her phone to communicate, especially because she was with her friends for the majority of the day.

Rory - "Hey, Talulah. You okay?"

Sophia - "Ro—Rory!"

Rory - "Wait, Sophia? Why do you have Talulah's phone?"

Sophia - "Talulah's...the forest...really cold...help—"

Rory - "Sophia? Sophia, are you there?!"

Sophia - "...trouble...hail coming...send...teach—"

Rory - "Sophia?! Sophia!"

Realizing he'd lost connection, Rory stuffs his phone in his pocket and quickly grabs his winter clothes, before running for the stables. On the way there, Rory bumps into Ms. Primrose, who stops him in his tracks as he hurriedly explains why he needs to go outside.

Ms. Primrose - "Mr. Carmichael, what are you doing? And why are you dressed like that? I told everyone that leaving campus was prohibited."

Rory - "Talulah and Sophia are out in the storm!"

Ms. Primrose - "They're what?!"

Rory - "Sophia called me through Talulah's phone and told me they're stuck in the forest, but the phone cut out before I could ask where!"

Ms. Primrose - "This is bad. I need to gather the teachers!"

Rory - "I've gotta get Storm and go look for them!"

Ms. Primrose - "Absolutely not! It's too dangerous out there for any students, the teachers will handle this!"

Rory - "But Ms. P—"

Ms. Primrose - "I know you're worried about your sister, Rory. But I cannot allow you to go out there and search for her and Sophia. They shouldn't have been out there to begin with!"

Rory - "Please, Ms. Primrose! Let me help! This is my sister we're talking about!"

Ms. Primrose - "...Fine, but only because you've taken Talulah under your wing. As for the rest of the students, I need to call an immediate lockdown. Saddle up Storm and wait for me at the front, I've got to alert the rest of the teachers."

Rory ran for the stables and quickly got Storm tacked up and ready to ride, but froze in terror as he realized both Wildstar and Feather were still in their stalls. If the girls' unicorns weren't with them, Rory couldn't look for a flying unicorn, or a light coming from Wildstar's horn. With this new piece of information, Rory and Storm ran out of the stables and towards the front of the school. In his rush to leave, Rory didn't see the rest of the unicorns, the most riled up being Feather and Wildstar, jumping free from their stables and running into the woods to look for the missing riders. From outside, Rory could hear Ms. Primrose on the overhead speakers initiating a lockdown, and he waited impatiently for her to return with the teachers. When Ms. Primrose finally appeared, she was followed by Ms. Furi and Ms. Wildwood. Since phone service was completely dead with the storm going on, Ms. Primrose gave Rory and the teachers special fireworks that would alert the others if they'd found Talulah and Sophia, or if there was trouble. With no proper instructions to give, Ms. Primrose and the search team set out into the forest, all of them going into different directions, hoping to find the lost students.
