(Last chapter was written while listening the 'good luck babe' but right now i am looping a 46 second preview of a song called 'divine ceo' so I don't know how it will come out as lol.

Well, here you are people, more.... p.s. still written before anything after the Threnodian being out.)

She couldn't seem to catch a break could she?

She liked helping, that was not the problem...

...

But she never seemed to have the time to anything but.

Waking up, the crownless, the tokens, the simulation test, Scar, the jingle beast, the flowers, the exiles, the headaches, the TDs, Scar again, Jué, the black shores, the blake bloom, stalkers, Camellya, Alto, the retrograde rain, the Threnodian, that creature, the-- With a spin of the long black blade, cleaving a tacet discord in two, the havoc predator crumbling, body sizzling out into dissolving frequencies as she walked on, not even caring to check if it left an echo behind.

Rover felt like everything was just thrown at her in quick successions with little to no time to assimilate it, just grab the information and run with it without digesting it.

The people were nice, She gladly helped them that's not the point... It's...

She had no idea why she climbed this mountain... Or did she? There was also this, when she finally had time to herself, it was all she could think about, all of the demands and expectations she kept living up too and now needed to maintain.

Looking around, it was the flower field Verina had first been met at, the plant resonator that created those fake blake blooms and the foot of the mountain she got the misfortune to meet miss obsessed with fruit and double meanings.

And now there was this... Once again living up to the prophecy of old, regaining some power that was meant to be her... How did the Threnodian even have it for itself? Why her?

Rover sighed, sitting near the ledge to look at the view, the flowers gently swaying in the breeze.

She... Why did she need to get that weird wing-y power? She didn't need it, she could fight just good enough without it but it came like muscle memory accompanied with momentary dizzying moments after combat.

Barely had she been cleared by the medical professional that 'You're alive! That's good and all... But I need help killing TDs' that the requests were back. And it all came like muscle memory, twirls that picked her off the ground in a swing of the wing down, a spin and slash the sharp feathers through monstrous flesh or a hurried flap to slam herself on the ground to avoid the swipes of a spearback with all this havoc energy...

Dropping her head with a sigh, shifting a knee up and hugging it as she leaned her cheek on it.

If Rover didn't feel different before, she sure did now.

Even before, she was looked at like some outsider, which she was, but not in the traditional way. Word spreads, myths are dug up, rumors are created. She was seen as someone 'more' in whatever way that that can be taken. Even her friends, there was something there, she could tell, they might not realize it but they too had once or twice looked for her to help them now that she was here to do that.

And now it was worse, it almost made her regretting being the one to stand up to the Threnodian, letting herself be pushed towards it by everyone around her telling her prophecy this and prophecy that... Did she even have a choice? Had she ever gotten a choice? She is not from powerful otherworldly being to fix all their problems... Or was she? Was this why she was that hero from the past? Brought back again and again to fix this mess and nothing more? She didn't like those look, the shine of respect, of respect not meant for the present but for legends proven true.
