Prayer:
Dear Lord, help me to fully trust in You, especially during uncertain times. Give me the faith to believe that You are in control and that You are working all things for my good. In Jesus' name, I pray. Amen.Bible Verse:
"Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths." - Proverbs 3:5-6 (NKJV)Reflection:
Life is full of uncertainties, and as a new Christian, you may often feel unsure about the future. Life before Christ was out of control, from day to day, the itinerary could and did change. Most of the time it was filled with pleasures of the world and desires of the flesh, so this new life was a little bit of a change of pace and for some it may seem too much to handle. Too many rules, too little fun, not enough whoo hoo. But friend, when we fully trust in God, that is when we really start to see a change in our lives.
Trusting God means relying on Him even when we cannot see the outcome. It's about having faith that God's plans are better than our own, even when things don't make sense. Learning to trust Him fully is essential for spiritual growth and peace of mind.
-God never leads His children otherwise than they would choose to be led, if they could see the end from the beginning and discern the glory of the purpose which they are fulfilling as coworkers with Him (Patriarchs and Prophets, p. 285).Devotional Message:
As you navigate your new journey of faith, there will be times of uncertainty and doubt. These moments can be challenging, but they are also opportunities to deepen your trust in God. Remember, He sees the bigger picture and has plans for you that are far beyond what you can imagine. Trusting Him means letting go of our own understanding and leaning into His wisdom and guidance. When you place your trust in God, you are never alone, and He will always lead you on the right path.
You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You. Trust in the Lord forever, for in Yah, the Lord, is everlasting strength.
