Prayer:
Generous Father, thank You for the many blessings You have given me and the multiple ways you provide. Help me to cultivate a spirit of generosity and to find joy in giving to others. In Jesus' name, I pray. Amen.

Bible Verse:
"Give, and it will be given to you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over will be put into your bosom. For with the same measure that you use, it will be measured back to you." - Luke 6:38 (NKJV)

Reflection:
Giving is a reflection of God's generosity towards us. When we give of our time, resources, and love, we mirror the character of God and bless others. Jesus gave it all. We are to imitate the life of Christ in all we do, even if it's hard we must try and walk in His footsteps. It's a complete life of self sacrifice.
Spending time with the sick, orphans, widows, or those who are just all around less fortunate and beaten down. It's not just about money, donations, giving physical goods or services. It is about the gift of love and salvation that God gave us, His wonderful illuminating Light.
We are to share it.
True joy comes from living a life of generosity and seeing how our giving can make a difference.
-The spirit of unselfish labor for others gives depth, stability, and Christlike loveliness to the character and brings peace and happiness to its possessor (Steps to Christ, p. 80).

Devotional Message:
Generosity is a powerful expression of our faith and love. When we give, we participate in God's work and bring His blessings to others. Embracing a life of giving not only blesses those around us but also brings joy and fulfillment to our own lives. Whether it's through our time, talents, or resources, each act of generosity reflects God's love and strengthens our faith community.
Deuteronomy 15:10 (NKJV):
You shall surely give to him, and your heart should not be grieved when you give to him, because for this thing the Lord your God will bless you in all your works and in all to which you put your hand.
