More Than Enemies? / TFP / MegaOp /

Optimus quickly and quietly put in the location, and went through the ground-bridge. When he arrived, he was in the middle of an edge of a beautiful forest. Optimus observed his surroundings in slight awe. 

Megatron : What took so long, hm?

Optimus turned to see Megatron leaning against a tree, arms crossed.

Optimus : Ratchet wanted to check for hidden injuries on my frame, that is all. Why did you request to meet here?

Megatron then got up from leaning, and walked towards Optimus. Optimus calmly stood his ground, waiting for a response and prepared for a blade or a sword to strike at him. Instead, he walked past him, sat down on edge, and patted the ground. Optimus understood the gesture.  Though he hesitated for a moment, but eventually came over. Optimus sat down, keeping his distance.

Megatron : I wanted to meet you here because..of the offer of the Energon. It was very strange of you to offer, but you are like that.   Optimus turned his helm towards Megatron, confused and asked ;

Optimus : Like what, Megatron?

Megatron : Nice. Caring, kind, even to me..after all the things I've done to you... Why?

Optimus turned away, stunned a bit, and took a moment to think ;   What do I say..?   Megatron waited patiently (surprisingly) for an answer. Finally, Optimus turned his helm back, and said ;

Optimus : I gave you the Energon cube for some reasons ; you were low, you needed Energon. So I simply gave it to you, even though you were capable of getting some yourself. I still did because...  Optimus trailed off. Megatron, getting interested, asked ; 

Megatron : Because..of what?   Optimus responded in a sincere tone ;

Optimus : Because a part of me still loves you, as if we were still on Cybertron.   Megatron, took an arrow to the spark, he quickly turned his helm to cover his bright blue face plating...again. Luckily, Optimus seemed to not notice a thing. He was too in awe by his surroundings. Fireflies flying around while glowing, the calm breeze, and the slight silence, made the tension between the two more...calm. Megatron too cleared his mind ; staring in awe of his surroundings. Megatron decides to ask another question, still curious about Optimus' thoughts.

Megatron : Optimus..

Optimus : Yes, Megatron?

Megatron : How could you..still love me? I know I somewhat already asked this question but.. Optimus thought for a moment, not expecting him to ask. Finally, Optimus answered ; 

Optimus : I still love you because..you're my brother. You may not accept me as your brother at the moment, but I do. I will always love you. We had a relationship before, didn't we? 

Megatron : Uh-yes, yes. We did..    Pull yourself together!!!  Megatron shouted in his mind. Not wanting to show the softer side of him. He then noticed that the sun was slowly rising, and it felt like they've only been there for a couple minutes. Optimus broke the silence ;

Optimus : Seems we have to return to our bases. 

Megatron : Oh, well..farewell Optimus. Until we see each other again I suppose.  A blue ground bridge appeared, and Optimus quickly replied ;

Optimus : Goodbye, Megatronus.   Before Megatron could respond or react, Optimus went through his ground bridge. Megatron' spark beat got faster, and his face plating got blue and warm. He was feeling...love..?    It's all just in my helm..probably...   Megatron thought, then summoned a ground bridge. He quickly steadied himself, and went through.
