More Than Enemies? / TFP / MegaOp /

Days had past, Megatron still couldn't get Optimus and his poetic-like words out of his helm. Even when he got Optimus out his helm, Optimus seemed to flow back in. No matter how hard he tried, Optimus never left his helm.   Did he put some...curse on me?..  Though again, the reader would disagree. Megatron hesitated, but wanted to meet up with Optimus again to shake off the weird feeling. Then again, he was afraid to meet up with him again. Afraid of being rejected. But to Megatron, he couldn't let fear get to him. He had to be the tough, strong, gladiator every-bot knew.

✨ / At the Autobot base / ✨

Optimus started to feel...weird. He felt somewhat safe & peace with Megatron, yet something else. He too also wanted to meet with Megatron, yet hesitated-

Ratchet : Optimus, are you okay?

Optimus : Oh..Yes, I am alright. Why do you ask?

Ratchet : Well...I-I just wanted to make sure my old friend is okay, that's all.

Optimus walked away towards his berthroom to get one of his data-pads to read. Once he entered his berthroom, he left his data-computer on...again. He then saw another message from a certain someone. He came and sat down in his chair, and looked at the message.

Greetings Optimus, I was wondering if you wanted to..meet up again? Same spot if that's okay with you, of course. 

- Megatron

Optimus smiled. Then it hit him. Did I just..smile?  Optimus thought to himself. He quickly shook it off, and replied ;

Hello Megatron. I have received your message. I don't mind meeting up again, at the same spot.

- Optimus

Optimus got up from his chair, and existed out of his berthroom. Though, he didn't plan for Ratchet to get suspicious ;

Ratchet : Optimus, we're might you be going?

Optimus : Oh, I'm going out for some fresh air, that's all. 

Ratchet : Do..Do you mind if I join you?    Optimus, slightly stunned, turned his helm the other direction. Lucky, Ratchet didn't seem to find that suspicious. Optimus turned his helm over towards Ratchet ;

Optimus : I'm afraid I have to decline that offer. Maybe next time I plan to go out?

Ratchet : Oh, that's alright old friend.   Optimus simply smiled, and went through the blue ground-bridge. Still not seeing the true intentions of Ratchet...

😅 / I'm srry if this chapter is kinda short. Wut do u think Ratchet's role is supposed to be? The supporter, against, or smth else?  / 😅
