"you know... what i like about you?" i blinked.
"that's im awesome and good in bed?" she laughed.
"no." i turned my body to lay on my stomach so i can see her better. "i like that you don't give a shit if your hair gets ruined because i'm running my hands through it."
"oh obviously i don't care if it's you." she said in a duh tone.
"well it looks like a mess now." i laughed at her.
"i know and it doesn't matter right now because im here in bed with you." she smiled. "and i get to call you my girlfriend." that smiled widened.
"it's been two weeks, you still can't believe it? am i that much of a catch? you're really boosting my ego, you know that?" i chuckled at the end.
"i wont believe it ever." she kissed my arm, it was the closest thing to her.
"liar." i said with red cheeks that i hoped were concealed in the dimmed light.
"id never dare to lie to you." she shook her head. "shower?"
"mhm." i nodded.

"good morning fiona, would you like trying something new or just your regular?" i walked up to the sweet lady that walks in here every morning for her breakfast, we have a self serving system but for her there's always an exception.
"just my regular dear, and what recommendations would you give me? i want to pick up one of those books." she pointed at the shelfs. "them being in my face everyday is motivating me."
"im glad to hear that, what are you looking to read? fiction, non fiction?" i asked.
"lets do non fiction." she replied.
"one of my favorites is three women, it talks about three different women in different places in a ten years time slot. the author describes their separate experiences yet somehow in the end all three stories make sense together. and then another book i love is just kids, it tells a story about two friends that lived as vagabonds, constantly moving from city to city. they keep falling in and out of love with each other and it shows how complicated life and love is." i recommend.
"i can take the books home with me right?" she asked.
"yes if you have a membership, which i strongly suggest that you do since you're here all the time. you get a twenty percent off on five recipes and one activity. and then for the library, you get to checkout any two books at a time for free." i informed her.
"sign me up!" she smiled.
"alright, i'll set everything up for you. did you want both of the books?" i asked.
"yes please." she smiled before i went to register her into the system. usually the customer would have to fill everything in but for fiona id do anything.
the bell above the door rang indicating that another customer walked in. i heard hanna attend to them so i continued what i was doing. "there you are julie!" a familiar voice said making me snap my head up.
"kennedy! you're here!" i walked up to her and greeted her with a hug.
"i had a doctors appointment earlier and i thought id stop by and have breakfast here." she said.
"well where do you want to sit?"
"anywhere!"
"okay but first i want to introduce you to my favorite customer i think you'd be great friends." i told her.
