Kai ran through Ninjago City, searching through every shady corner looking for his best friend. Hours passed, and he was starting to lose hope. He called his teammates.

"Has anyone found Lloyd yet?"

"No"

"Nope"

"No clues or traces, either."

Tears suddenly started to spill from Kai's eyes. If someone managed to get hold of the golden ninja, they must be really strong.

Suddenly, Kai had one more idea. The woods.

It was quite dark, but Kai had a flashlight. He walked past trees, that casted monster-like shadows on the dim ground they were planted on.

After a while, Kai stopped dead in his tracks. He saw blood. Fresh, recently extracted blood.

"Lloyd?" Kai called out. "Hello? Is anyone there?"

He heard a rustling sound behind him. Kai chose to ignore it and followed the bloody trail.

The sounds were getting louder.

And louder.

Suddenly, Kai saw something that made him want to throw up. He was about to scream when something caught hold of his neck and he was getting lifted of the floor.

Kai tried to scream, but not a single sound came out of his throat.

He figured it was over for him but he kept trying to fight the object anyways.

He couldn't even see it.

But now he wasn't able to see anything anyways as his vision dimmed to black.
