"Lloyd! LLOYD! You there?"

Kai woke up in an eternal field of grass. He doesn't know how he got here, nor can he remember much, except that he's looking for Lloyd.

Not Nya, not Zane, not Cole, not Jay. Just Lloyd.

"Kai! I'm over here!" A familiar voice said.

Kai turned around to see the green ninja.

"Lloyd! There you are! Where are we?" Kai questioned confusedly.

"That doesn't matter! It's so peaceful! Let's play!"

Kai was puzzled. But there didn't seem to be any danger around. And it was the Ultimate Spinjitzu Master asking him to play, he would know when not to. Wouldn't he?

So the two played for hours and hours, laughing all the time. Kai hadn't felt this relaxed in a long time, but there was this disturbing feeling in his mind, that he wasn't supposed to be here.

That he was on a mission for something.

Then it hit him. Lloyd being missing. The blood. The woods. And being choked... to death?

"Kai are you okay? You look lost in thoughts." Lloyd ran up to the master of fire, still smiling.

"Lloyd, are we dead?"

Lloyd's expression turned grim.

"I don't know. Do you want to die?"

Kai froze.

"What-"

"Do you want to die? We can play forever and ever. Or you could save me. Maybe I'm still alive."

"You're right here-"

"You're dreaming, Kai. Come back to reality." And with that, the world around Kai began fading.

"No, Lloyd, don't leave me, come back."

"You need to find me, Kai."

Kai's vision turned black. For a second, he thought he had died.

But then he could suddenly see again.

How he wished he couldn't.

He was locked in a cage, in a dark room, with fire burning here and there.

And Kai began to cry. How he wanted Lloyd back.
