As Rimuru's voice resounded throughout the room, everyone looked at him with wide eyes as his proposal began to sink in. Fighting Yggdrasil would be the same as picking a fight with the hosts of the event. And as everyone knows, fighting the hosts does not exactly leave a good impression of you on others.

"Hahaha." The one to break this awkward silence was none other than Guy.

"You really are interesting Rimuru. At first you wanted to avoid the fight, but now you are picking a fight with Yggdrasil? You do know that she won't be that easy to beat? Unlike Orcanyx or Behemoth, I couldn't exactly get a proper measure of her power. She must atleast be in the same level as Veldanava." Guy said with a smirk on his face.

"So? Are you scared? Not only that, we will also get the inheritance, right? It should somewhat help us. So? What do you think?"

After a moment of thinking, Guy spoke up.

"Sure. Why not. Let's go with that. I don't see anything wrong with that. What about you guys?" Guy asked the others. Velzard agreed with her, while Rudra and Velgrynd have an exasperated sigh but finally agreed with him.

"What to about you, Milim? Yggdrasil would be much more stronger than Orcanyx." Guy asked Milim, who agreed nearly instantly upon hearing that Yggdrasil would be a stronger foe.

"Well, I'll go with the flow as well. After all, if anything goes wrong, Rimuru-san will take care of it." Yuuki said with a grin.

"Fine. Have it your way." Ruminas agreed as well.

"I am sure we now have a clear majority. So, Yggdrasil it is. We have a few months. If you want to get stronger, now is the time." Guy declared.

"Now that it has been decided that our target is Yggdrasil, let me ask you something, Rimuru. Why Yggdrasil? There were many other Gods as well. Why only her?" Guy asked seriously.

"Well, there is one reason. I am sure you all have also been contacted by people from another world." Rimuru spoke up.

"Are you taking about the people who are from Earth?" Ruminas asked. Hearing this question, Leon was surprised. He didn't know that someone from Earth had contacted the other demon lords. Well, it technically is his fault. Nobody can enter El Dorado that easily, and I doubt they will get to meet Leon, even if they did try to enter El Dorado. .

"Yes. So you see, there are different countries there, I am sure they introduced themselves from one country or other." Rimuru said.

"Ya. The one who came to meet me was saying he was from Russia. I was surprised that he dared to cross the frozen Ocean and came to meet me." Guy said.

"The ones who visited me were from Japan. If I am not wrong, Chloe, you used to live in that country, didn't you?" Ruminas asked, to which Chloe have a slight nod.

"Alright. Who came aside, I made a deal with the people living there. I will help them to become free from Yggdrasil's control and become in control of their world. Obviously I asked for something in return, but I won't reveal that. All in all, I have to help them, so we might as well fight Yggdrasil directly." Rimuru said.

"... We were not informed of that." Ruminas said after thinking about for a bit.

"Well, duh. It was just decided a day ago by me and a few other representatives. I am sure you will get to know about it soon as well." Rimuru replied.

"So, Veldanava, do you have any useful information on Yggdrasil?" Guy asked, but was met with silence.

Everyone turned around to see the seat where Veldanava was sitting, only to find it empty. In the midst of the discussion, Veldanava had excused himself. This was because he didn't want to interfere with the plan that everyone was making.

This was not only because the older Gods weren't allowed to mess with the younger ones before their awakening, but also because he wanted to keep the show interesting for himself.

"Looks like he doesn't want to help us with this." Rimuru said.
"Seems like it. So? What are we gonna do? We can't just go in and picka fight, can we?" Rudra asked.

"Luckily, we don't have to, we can just make the humans from other world take the lead. And we can just join in to support them. It's not like we need to explicitly state why we are supporting them." Rimuru replied.

"True. With that decided, let's move on to the next agenda. Who's going to defend the Cardinal World? Even if Veldanava is back, I am still the mediator of the world. Most of us will be absent during the ceremony, making the Cardinal World quite s susceptible to being invaded." Guy spoke up.

"About that, shouldn't Dagruel and Dino be in charge of defence? Since they won't be coming for the ceremony." Ciel said. Bring subordinates to Veldanava, the two didn't fulfill the criteria to be a God. As such, it is impossible for them to awaken as one either.

"Ehhhh? I don't wanna. It seems troublesome." Dino said drowsily, but the glare from Guy, Ciel, Rimuru and Ruminas instantly woke him up.

"I-I am at your s-service. Leave the defence to me." Dino said out loud with his back straightened.

"*Sigh* You can leave the defence to us, but just some wouldn't cut it. We'll need some more people." Dagruel said.

"We will be leaving with only two of our subordinates, so the rest can keep a check here." Guy said. What he said suddenly caused another wave of confusion to come across the participants.

"Wait what?! We can take our subordinates? Why weren't we told about this?" Rimuru said. Everyone nodded, as if agreeing with him.

"I was about to tell you guys. You see, I talked to Veldanava regarding this, and he said that if we were going to join a side, then we will need to take our subordinates as well. Since Orcanyx challenged Finn, Orcanyx can only take two subordinates with him, but Finn and Rizzete can bring for subordinates of their own, each."

"That makes it a ten on six, considering Orcanyx and Behemoth both bring two subordinates of their own." Ciel pointed out.

"True. But it will still be a five on five. I am sure Veldanava told us about that. It seems that first five would be chosen to fight from each side. Whether one is defeated, a substitute is sent in. It continues till all the substitutes are used up, and the final give also fall." Guy told everyone what Veldanava had told them a few years back.

As such, I would like to request that you send my son as one of my subordinates, Demon lord Rimuru." It was Zelanus, who spoke up for the first time during the meeting.
