He was nervous as hell. The tie around his neck felt more suffocating than it was supposed to be, but he blamed the nervousness more than the piece of cloth. His palms were sweating, and the flower bouquet in his hand almost slipped from his grasp. He wasn't a people person and the PDA made him uncomfortable, but he would do anything for the man he loved. The walls of the tiny space between the restaurant's dining area and stage felt like they could fall at him any moment. His heart was beating furiously ready to jump out of his rib cage as he stepped forward. The MC handed him a microphone, patting his shoulder encouragingly. He entered the light, looking around the restaurant to find his boyfriend. He almost laughed, seeing the young man's stunned face.
Sending a signal to the staff, he waited for the familiar melody to fill the room. The nervosity flew away with the first verse. He wasn't a good singer, but the soft smile on his boyfriend's lips encouraged him to continue.

As the song continued, slowly heading to the end, he stepped from the stage and walked towards his other half. He felt the eyes of the other customers on him, but he focused on the man sitting in front of him and the cute dimples he loved so much. The sparkling eyes watched his every move. He handed the rose bouquet to him and smiled when the younger's face lit up even more.

A life, a sparkle in your eyes

The song ended, and he passed the microphone to the nearby waiter. He clumsily pulled the dark blue velvet box from his pants pocket and kneeled in front of the love of his life.
"Will you marry me, Gun?"
Off opened the box, showing the sparkling ring. Gun's eyes widened before they filled with tears. He covered his mouth with his tiny palm, suppressing the scream. And when his pretty head nodded, Off felt like he just won the lottery. Gently, Off took Gun's hand and put the ring on it. The loud cheers echoed through the restaurant as the customers congratulated the newly engaged couple.
"I love you, Papii." Gun pulled Off into a hug, crushing the flowers between their bodies.
"I love you too, Ter." Off grinned. He was the happiest man under the sun.
