Heeseung was the only family I had left.

Our parents died a year before I began working at the bakery, there was a little joke I had with Heeseung that he was the reason why they died, all the stress he caused them made them age significantly quicker.

It was devastating, but day by day, you slowly learn to move on and continue with your life. The world continues spinning regardless if someone dies or not, which kind of sucks if you think about it, but then again, I guess it's just life.

I had made my way home after my shift, laid my skincare on my face, tied my hair up and changed into more comfortable attire.

I could already hear the bass of the music from Heeseung's house, how his windows haven't shattered yet, I am yet to understand.

There were several cars parked up on the sidewalk, a bunch crowding on his driveway, people chilling outside, someone pissing in the neighbour's bush.

Great, just a lovely sight.

I stared out of my balcony, pressing my facemask to my skin and trying to enjoy the cool night air as much as I could, blocking out the loud music.

There were a few motorcycles parked up on the front too, I just gave a sigh, I really did wish he'd stop this kind of life, but what can someone like I do? I literally fear walking past the scanners in the shops, just in case they'd beep although I know I've not stole anything.

I leant on the railing of my balcony, observing as people walked in and out, drinks in hand, laughing, shouting and whatnot.

My phone suddenly pinged, and I checked to see who it was. Of course, one and only, Heeseung.

This guy literally only messaged me whenever he needed something. Jesus, what a brother I have.

hee: jieuuuuun do you still have that liquor in ur cabinettttttt

ji-eun: yes i do and yes you can have it

hee: love u ty just come thru from the back with it

ji-eun: you aren't even going to get it urself?

ji-eun: bro i have a facemask on right now are u serious

hee: im hosting i cant leave the place

hee: pretty pretty please

hee: you can ask me for any favour after this pleaaaaase

ji-eun: ur actually lucky im ur sister

With that, I took the sheet mask off my face, sure, it probably wasn't long enough on my face to even work, but one thing was, I am not about to show up there with a face mask on.

I head downstairs, grabbing the bottle of liquor he was talking about, and reluctantly, made my way over to Heeseung's place, just across the road from me.

I didn't come through the front, I probably wouldn't make it out alive if I did. Instead, I made my way around, into his back garden, which was probably even worse.

I bumped into several people, and honestly people were probably wondered how a homeless person got in here, but it's whatever, I'm here to deliver one thing.

I scanned across the whole garden, yet I had no exact idea where my own brother was. He was pretty noticeable, matter of fact, him and his friends stood out like crazy.

He wasn't in the pool, nor near the mini bar, or the lounge area. I was just wandering around like a complete idiot, no wonder people just kept staring at me.

Least to say, I hated this the most right now, the favour he's gonna have to repay me with will be massive, just wait until I need to ask him of something.

I continued looking around, walked inside and around only partially, I wasn't about to go around his whole house, because it was already pretty packed and I'm not a big fan of insanely crowded spaces.

Feeling my defeat, I made my way back out, man, I could've at least tried to blend in. I never learn my lesson at all.

I blindly just kept walking, looking around, and as I was doing, I bumped into someone, my head bumped onto their chest.

The worst thing arguably, was the fact that it was a bare chest, and the person presumably just got out of the pool.

I looked up frantically, about to express my apologies nine million times, but the words didn't seem to come out as I looked at him in his face.

It was one of Heeseung's close friends, he just looked at me, a small smile on his face as he stared at me. The man had water trickling down him, his abs glistening with water, hair wet, and he was partially breathing heavily.

"Oh- sorry-.. uh." I scrambled for words in my head, wanting to actually curse myself for acting very awkward.

"It's alright, Ji-eun right?" He asked, and I swallowed hard, nodding my head.

"Yeah, you have any idea where Heeseung is? He's asked me to deliver this, but fuck knows where his ass left to." I gave a small sigh, looking to the ground as he gave a quiet, short laugh to himself.

"Give me a moment, let me just grab a towel, wait here." He head off to the lounge area of the garden, I had no idea what his name was, but this man was hella fine.
