An Icy Heart (hiccup x reader)

Y/n woke up in Hiccup's room to see him sitting doodling at his desk.
" good Morning" he said, eyes still on the page.
"Morning" Y/n yawned, getting up out the bed and making her way over to the dragons resting in the corner.
"So you're going to go sit beside the dragons instead of me? I'm heartbroken" Hiccup joked whilst he shut over his sketch book and looked up
"Yep! What you drawing?" Y/n laughed a little as her curiosity got away from her
"Oh nothing important, how did you sleep"
"Good thanks, but I should probably go I guess" Y/n shrugged but noticed Hiccup's smile falter at her statement
"Or you could stay?" He questioned, sitting beside her
"Are you sure? I don't want to be a bother" Y/n sighed,
"Trust me you won't be now come on let's go get some food" Hiccup smiled.

They walked into the first hall and got some food before sitting at the table with Hiccup's friends who were deep in a heated conversation about dragons
"What's up guys?" Hiccup asked
"There's a few whispering deaths in the forest, we thought we better get rid of them" Astrid shrugged
"What do you mean 'get rid' of them?" Y/n butted in
"You know just like scare them off" Astrid said in a 'duh' kind of tone
Y/n looked down at her plate silently.
"Don't worry, by scare them off she means carefully relocate them" Hiccup whispered, earning a nod in return
"Well anyway I better go fly Azure before he starts getting annoying" Y/n shrugged and stood up.
Once she was away people started asking questions
"What's her problem" Snotlout scoffed
Hiccup looked at him with a raised brow "what do you mean? She doesn't have a problem"
"She's got like no emotions"
"Is she an alien?" Tuffnut piped in, earning an elbow from his twin
"No she's not an alien! She just hasn't been around humans in a while, she just doesn't trust yous" Hiccup sighed, he felt bad for Y/n, it seemed something deeper was going on
"Well she just seems like a bitch to me" Snotlout scoffed and what they didn't know was that Y/n was still close enough to hear the conversation so in that moment she decided she was leaving.

"Come on Azure we're leaving I knew this was too good to be true" she shouted as she entered the haddock hut
"You're leaving?" A female voice said quietly
"Oh hi Val, I thought you would be out sorry" Y/n sighed
" have a seat, what's wrong?" Valka said softly
"I just can't fit in here, I thought it would be different here" Y/n sighed as she sat down
"Oh Y/n you just need time to settle, I've missed you you know" Val said with a soft smile
"I missed you too Val it's just, it's a lot" Y/n said as tears pricked her eyes
"I understand that, trust me it was hard for me too at first"
"How did you manage it?"
Valka sighed "I just took it one day at a time I guess. It helped having Stoick and Hiccup"
Y/n smiled "thanks Val, I'm going to go for a quick flight.

After going up to get Azure they left through Hiccup's bedroom window and quickly made their way above the clouds.
Y/n lay back as Azure spooked to a smooth glide "what am I going to do buddy? I just can't seem to get over the past. Even Val is there like who would have thought that would happen? But I just can't seem to fit in" Y/n sighed, suddenly Azure starting growling causing Y/n to sit bolt upright and look around the clouds
"Easy boy quiet just incase" she whispered, continuing to look around but again no one was there, well that was until a dragon flew over her, grabbing her in its claws
"Azure!" Y/n yelled and her dragon tried to snatch her back but couldn't risk hurting her
"It's okay buddy just go get help'" Y/n shouted again, hoping her dragon would go find Hiccup or Valka.
The dragon threw her into a sandy beach and walked menisingly towards her
"Easy it's okay" Y/n said calmly, it was just a monsterous nightmare which she had befriended before so she thought it would calm soon enough however she was wrong.
"She's not going to reply to you you know" a voice laughed from the shadows of the cliff face beside Y/n
"Who's there!?" Y/n questioned, not taking her eyes of the dragon before her
"Begele leave it" the voice said softly before laughing and coming out of hiding. It was a blonde boy about Y/n's age
"Why did you 'kidnap' me?" Y/n asked harshly
"Enough of the atutude or Begele there will tear you to shreads, in fact I'm surprised she never did already i expected her too" the boy shrugged bordely
"Well she didn't bow answer my question" Y/n crossed her arms
"Fine then miss bossy, I never kidnapped you, my dragon did, you are rather pretty though I might add"
Y/n's face reddened "no you might not now care to explain who you are"
The boy laughed "if begele trusts you so will I so go ahead let's see if you get scorched alive"
Y/n rolled her eyes but moved closer to the now growling dragon "easy girl I won't hurt you@ Y/n cooed and slowly but surely the dragon seems to calm down until eventually it placed is smokeing nose against Y/n's palm and she scratched it lightly.
"Now care to tell me who you are?"
The boy shook his head in disbelief but answered the question nonetheless "the names Kradê, what about you?"
"I meant like where are you from but I'm F/n" (fake name - (who knows who this could be) )
Kradê nodded "I'm from Asurer and I know that's not your name Y/n" he laughed
"B-but how, I thought I was finally away from there for good. H-how did you find me" Y/n took a few steps back as her heart raced but hit a wall, she had no way out without her dragon.
"Nope! And I guess I told a little lie I told Begele to go get you, I've been keeping an eye on you Y/n and your parents want you back." He laughed again
"Well tell them I'm not going back to be stuck on the stupid island or to be sold to another evil man! I will never go back there" Y/n hid her tears as she desperately searched for any sign of Azure.
"Too bad cause you're coming back with me, oh how your parents will react to this!" Kradê smiled sinisterly but before he could speak again he was cut off by another voice
"No she won't cause she's coming home with me" the new person snuck up through a gap in the cliff and grabbed Y/n before she could even tell who it was, they were dragging her atop another dragon.
